From start to finish this property excels at low standards and failure to meet expectations. Check in process was abysmal. No one at the front to great you or assist with luggage. Front desk staff do not provide any information about the property or welcome you. I did notice some having a welcome drink and someone sitting an explaining things, but I guess not all guest warrant this attention. The decor is minimalist and the entire property smells like a man’s cologne. Colors are neutral to drab but on the positive they do have real flowers. Rooms are small for the price point and do not really stand out as far as amenities. The spa and pool area are abysmal. No order of discipline. Kids own the place and there is not an area for adults only. There is no place to really relax and get away from the noise of kids in a pool. Ahh yes.. the pools are ice cold, even the jacuzzi. Who wants to swim in warm water right? Dining…. Limited options. Food was okay, not five star. When we finished my wife mentioned that her dish was supposed to have mango but it didn’t. The waitress didn’t know. Anyhow it wasn’t a huge deal. We left, got a drink, and retired for the evening. I did not appreciate the passive aggressive delivery of sliced mango (unordered) to my room at 930 pm from the restaurant when the do not disturb sign was emplaced. Also I do not appreciate being disturbed at breakfast 1 minute after sitting down by some Euro-trash manager. At checkout I asked for my car to be brought out. Nope… can’t do it so I got it myself . Don’t bother with this property… it’s overpriced and of no value.

Not really a 5 star place of honest. Check in was rushed and not very professional. I saw others sitting and having a relaxing welcome drink. Quite a difference. The shuttle to the nearby town is nice and the staff are friendly and competent. Room decor is nice and the hotel is well appointed. Pool and Spa. Sub par. All the water features are ice cold. Even the jacuzzi… cold. No adults only area…. So enjoy the screaming kids. Dinner was okay, but the food is not as advertised. One dish was supposed to have mango in it., but it didn’t. We pointed this out just to let them know the food wasn’t as advertised. No sooner than we entered our room, they sent a plate of mango to my room without us asking for it. This is passive aggressive behavior. Sad they feel they need to stoop to this low brow behavior. I refused it. It a nice place, but not worth the price point. The service is okay, but I would have rather driven another 2 hours to Schloss Elmau and enjoyed a true 5* experience.

I have stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels in my life, but the Oeschberghof has got to be in my top three as far as service and attention to detail are concerned! My two girlfriends and I just came for the weekend to celebrate a 60th birthday and our entire experience couldn’t possibly have been better. As one of my sons is in the hospitality business in Switzerland, I know that such quality service by every single staff member - from the receptionists to the restaurant and spa staff to the bellboys and chambermaids, etc. - is the result of having fantastic management. Thank you so very much!!! The girlfriend whose birthday it was was upgraded to a larger room, but the singles too were wonderful. We received bubbly welcome drinks upon arrival and a lovely young staff member then came over to explain all the details of our stay. The well stocked minibar (beer, wine, soft drinks) was completely free, so we had pre-dinner drinks in the comfortable seating area of my room. The spa was spotlessly clean and oh so enjoyable on both days. Dinner at the Hexenweier restaurant was delicious and the cosy bar with fireplace was great for after-dinner drinks! I will definitely return but in the meantime hats off to the brilliant establishment!

Hotel Öschberghof is nicely located. Has fantastic spa facilities, large swimming pool and many different types of saunas. They have a number of restaurants to choose from, and a great golf course right by the hotel. The rooms are fresh, and the staff friendly. However, during my three day visit there, there were just too many service shortcomings, which is not acceptable for a five star hotel. These included excessive waiting times for food, lapses in the kitchen, ignorance of Corona-hygiene regulations, etc. The staff is courteous, but the shortcomings during my stay, large and small ones, indicate somehow a lack of proper staff training. There were way too many red flags for anyone who might have high standards for their vacation. All preconditions are actually there for the Öschberghof to be a top hotel and offer a pleasant stay, but this is unfortunately not a hotel I will recommend to friends and colleagues.

Unser Aufenthalt im Öschberghof war einfach traumhaft. Die elegante Atmosphäre bot einen idealen Rückzugsort für Paare. Das Restaurant verwöhnte uns mit hervorragendem Essen, und der vielfältige Spa-Bereich ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und trug dazu bei, dass unser Aufenthalt unvergesslich wurde. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine luxuriöse Auszeit suchen.

Das Personal war in allen Bereichen gut geschult und sehr freundlich. Beim Frühstück wurde alles geboten was das Herz begehrt. Das Abendessen im Esszimmer war O.K. Leider war zu unserem Zeitpunkt das Öschnoir geschlossen. Bei den Zimmern ist der Schlafkomfort erwähnenswert. Die Daunendecke ist extra lang, leicht und schön warm. Am besten haben uns die Massagen durch Rajun und die Bar mit ihrer Auswahl und dem kompetenten Service gefallen. Gerne wieder.

Als Stammgast im Hotel bin ich sehr verwöhnt, und an den TOP Service im ganzen Hotel gewöhnt. Ich wusste das die Suiten und Zimmer im Nachbargebäude (Dependance) frisch renoviert worden sind und jetzt hat es endlich geklappt mit Frau und Hund (sehr kurzfristig-vielen Dank), diese auch mal zu bewohnen. Was soll ich sagen, unser Zimmer war perfekt vorbereitet für unsere Hundedame (siehe Bilder) und meine (bekannten) Extrawünsche waren wie gewohnt ebenfalls vorbereitet. Die Renovierung sticht ins Auge, so wurden nicht nur die Zimmer, sondern auch die Gebäude im Innenbereich renoviert. Was relativ neu ist im Hotel, der Gast bekommt ein kleines Visitenkärtchen mit dem Namen und Bild des Mitarbeiters, welcher den Zimmerservice gemacht hat. Wieder so ein kleines persönliches Detail, was den Unterschied macht:-) Wir waren in der Tagesbar, der Hexe, im TanÖshi und auf der Terrasse im Esszimmer zum verwöhnen lassen. Sowie ich/wir es kennen, perfekter Service, tolle Qualität und Auswahl an Speisen und einer sehr guten Weinkarte. Da wir gerne am Morgen schwimmen gehen, nutzten wir natürlich das Schwimmbad im Hotel. Einfach perfekt, morgens früh ist man fast alleine und kann das tolle und große Innenschwimmbad nutzen, sowie im Aussenpool chillen und sogar schwimmen. Das hat schon was Besonderes, dieser schöne Aussenpool mit der tollen Sicht. Nach dem Schwimmen dann zum Frühstücken ins Esszimmer. Unglaublich, was der Öschberghof hier abliefert, so eine Auswahl haben wir in keinem 5 Sterne Hotel, welches wir regelmässig besuchen (Dolder, Baur au Lac oder im Chedi.....um nur mal ein paar zu nennen). Für uns ist das Frühstück im Öschberghof die Benchmark der 5 Sterne Hotellerie:-) Vielen Dank für ein paar wunderschöne Tage

Etwas vom Besten, dass ich je erleben durfte und ich war schon in vielen Hotels. Tolle Zimmer, ganz tolles freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, hervorragende Essen einfach ein Hotel wo alles bis ins kleinste Detail stimmig ist und stimmt.

Hatten eine Einladung zum Geburtstag meiner Frau. Vom herzlichen Empfang durch Frau Yan die so besonders nett war und uns alles zeigte bis zur Verabschiedung Alle Alle Mitarbeiter so zu vorkommend und freundlich.Zimmer Wellnesbereich absolut Top.Service und Essen im Esszimmer beim Abendessen und beim Frühstück überragend.Kommen bald wieder Vielen Lieben Dank an das ganze Team.
