オテル ドゥ ラ バイエ - グランヴィル(Previthal Hotel de La Baie Thalasso & Spa Marin)

A lovely two night break … we will return. Some of the old reviews were bit off putting BUT I’d urge anyone to read newest ones . This was a great find . Wonderful location , excellent food , spotlessly clean and staff who were super helpful . Very pleased with our visit.

Awful Basic Room -meant to have Sea /Terrace View " as described on web site all room's have either!! "- Overlooked a noisy CAR PARK next to a camping site with lots of noise /music up to and after midnight. Hair found within the bedlinen. NO HOT WATER TO SHOWER. When advised to Reception the response was" NO ONE ELSE HAS COMPLAINED"!! No menus in English / No Vegetarian option. Do not understand how this Hotel obtained a 4* rating 3* at a stretch but more like 2* in my opinion. More importantly I believe an audit from a French Health and Safety Depar**ent need's to be conducted to ensure that covid requirements are being adhered to. During our visit COVID rules on 1 meter Social Distancing was NOT MONITORED OR ADHERED to in the Restaurant. I was "TERRIFIED" I was going to contact COVID. Buffet breakfast with at least 50 Guests breathing over and choosing from uncovered food/ handling the same serving utensils as everyone else without using disposable gloves etc --DISGUSTING . Our stay was booked for 3 nights DBB for a 70TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, No Food consumed at Dinner nor at Breakfast for the reasons stated. Checked out after 1 night's stay. We were charged 525 EURO 10 CENT for the worst experience ever encountered in a long history of staying in Hotels, as mentioned previously in 5 different Continents. The Duty manager was very professional and tried to resolve some of the issues by offering an upgrade with a sea view which we would be charged for! / an opportunity to discuss vegatarian options with the Kitchen/ to have our bed linen changed / or to dine in our room. We may as well have stayed at home where health and safety would have be adhered to and where there would have been a**osphere. After careful consideration on what was offered we decided to check out as we believed the lack of Health and Safety in the Dining room/coupled with the external noise /no guarantee of Hot water being available etc was not part of what we expected for the Birthday Celebrations. On checking out the Duty Manager advised that we needed to contact booking .com requesting a refund as this was not possible at the Hotel!! / After contacting *********** to advise of the numerous issues/ a Birthday Celebration ruined /not to mention checking out after 1 night of 3 and concerns about our Health and Safety we were advised that the HOTEL Refused a refund!!!! Now feeling very confused Hotel stating a *********** issue and *********** stating a Hotel issue. on what was meant to be a romantic 70th Birthday Celebration turned out to be a disaster. HOTEL IN REALITY NOT AS DESCRIBED ON WEB SITE NOR ON THE *********** WEB SITE. I am a genius member of BOOKING .COM if that's how I am going to be treated --what more can I SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

superbe séjour, expérience à renouveler hôtel propre restaurant au top, thalasso super, bon séjour relaxant

Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu nous détendre comme il se doit. Nous avons réalisé plusieurs thalasso et c'est la première fois que dans l'espace des soins nous voyons du personnel aussi bruyant. Mon amie à été réveillée de manière brutale à la suite du soin de boue sa lumière a été directement allumée et on a enlevé sans attendre les couvertures passant de la détente du bain de boue à un réveil assez brutal. Pas de transition comme nous pouvons le voir dans les autres thalasso. C'est très décevant car l'espace de restauration est top ainsi que l'espace de la piscine avec un cadre très dépaysant. À refaire nous ne payons pas la cure ce qui est dommage car les soins font partis de la base d'une thalasso

Bien situé près de Granville que l’on peut rejoindre à pied cet établissement est d excellente qualité avec un personnel professionnel et attentif. Le restaurant est également de très bonne facture avec des produits locaux. Je recommande

Points positifs : emplacement de l’hôtel, espace thalasso et soins, personnel globalement accueillant, chambre convenable, mets proposés au restaurant qui sont très bons. Points négatifs : chambre 101 bruyante (bruit de moteur qui s’arrête puis redémarre toute la nuit, comme une chaudière par exemple) Serveuse motivée mais n’étant clairement pas du métier, se faisant reprendre par ses collègues, cela crée un froid. Difficulté lors de la réservation de la chambre, ça a été le parcours du combattant pour y arriver (injoignable au téléphone et délais de réponse par mail très longs) et oubli de noter notre réservation du dîner. Réapprovisionnement du petit déjeuner mal suivi, obligés de réclamer plusieurs choses pour les avoir.
