クロ ドゥ ヴァロムブリューズ ザ オリジナルズ ルレ (ルレ ドュ サイレンス)(Clos de Vallombreuse, the Originals Relais (Relais du Silence))

What a peculiar place...a great location, a beatififul building, great rooms, great vieuws... and ar the same time: derelict and in very dire need of some inves**ent in time and money. This must once have been a great, new place - and one can only wonder what happened: the - very friendly- receptionist lady does not give anything away - as well she should’nt. Housekeeping is substandard, old dust everywhere ... and then there are the FLIES. Hundreds of them. Which is why there is a spraycan of insect killer in the room. C’mon - are we supposed to sleep in insecticide fumes? Pots of Dead plants in the corridors - WHY? The garden has not been tended in years - WHY? Breakfast: OK, but not cheap. And drinking the coffee will necessitate a rapid trip to the farmacy - to invest some imodium.

Lovely hotel, nice view of the sea. Great Restaurant!

The hotel is a lovely old mansion in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea and just over the road from a beautiful sandy cove which was wonderful for swimming. The restaurant is wonderful - we had an incredible three course dinner there and the waitress was charming. The breakfast buffet is nicely done in a very pleasant wood panelled dining room too. Our room itself was a little bare- the only mirror was in the bathroom, there weren’t many plugs and there was no hook for the shower attachment or shower curtain so only possible to have baths (though the bath was excellent!). The pool was closed because of Covid which was a shame. But overall this is a lovely little hotel with very welcoming staff and a fab restaurant in a beautiful seaside town.

Ne correspond pas du tout aussi photos, chambres vétustes, papiers peints abîmés, moquette au sol, fourmis dans la salle de bains. Pourtant le cadre est très agréable et l'endroit très calme. Beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations . Petit déjeuner mediocre

De passage pour le travail. Accueil chaleureux et agréable. Hotel très bien situé avec chambre spacieuse. Vue sur le jardin et la mer. Bonne literie et petit dej bien fourni. Je recommande fortement.

Mauvaise surprise Chambre mal insonorisée (claquement de portes …) Serviettes de bains effilochées Pas d’eau chaude : problème signalé à la réception faisant la sourde oreille à notre requête Changement de chambre pour la 3 ème nuit : État de propreté inacceptable ( Moquette tâchée .. État des sanitaires …) À éviter absolument

Très déçu... accueil pas désagréable mais loin d'être accueillante, vite débarrassé. Chambre vieillotte. À chaque utilisation de la baignoire on inonde la SDB. Spa fermé (une habitude apparemment). Le dîner était bon ! Petit dejeuner correct mais un peu cher. Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas bon.

Deuxième fois que nous nous arrêtons au Clos de Vallombreuse. Très belles chambres neuves, de bon goût et spacieuses. Une mention particulière pour les salles de bain. Nous étions en haut d'un escalier en colimaçon. Petit déjeuner très agréable dans un magnifique salon vintage avec vue sur la mer.

De kamers zijn gerenoveerd ( vermoedelijk 2018). De eigenares is zo goed als het enige personeelslid. Er ontbreekt altijd wel wat op het ontbijt, dan is er geen fruitsap, dan geen eieren, het brood is niet vers... In het restaurant een soortgelijk verhaal , van de beperkte kaart zijn een aantal gerechten niet beschikbaar (dus blijft de keuze heel beperkt). De kwaliteit van de aangeboden gerechten is ook niet hoog. Het binnenzwembad en de SPA zijn (omwille van COVID ??????) niet beschikbaar. Het terras en de tuin zijn verwaarloosd. Er is wel WIFI maar dit is niet verbonden met internet. Ik vermoed dat dit hotel op stervens na dood is...Spijtig het mooie oude gebouw verdient beter.
