ザ・クレアモント(Claremont Hotel)

房間特別安靜（可能因為旅遊淡季），酒店的餐飲如早餐特別豐盛，窗外景色就是海灣。出行附近就有馬恩島博物館步行便利，島上公交需要自己查，總體而言都還挺好的。下次來還住！

Booked an overnight stay for myself as I was joining family and friends for an celebration lunch in Coast and afterwards party with cocktails. The booking in process was very easy and the staff were more than helpful . The room was clean and spacious with a luxurious bathroom . It had all the facilities required including a large flat screen tv . There was noise overnight from the street but that’s what you would expect in town . The only problem I had was in the morning I had booked a taxi which I nearly missed as the signage for the lift is very poor luckily I could ask the maid who was on the third floor I would never have found it without her as it was around a corner and down some stairs .

After several attempts my wife finally talked me into a night at the Claremont. What a wonderful experience! We stayed in one of the business club rooms on a DB&B basis. The room was lovely. Staff from reception through to the bar and the waiting staff were all exceptional, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We will definitely be staying again.

We enjoyed the visit very much. But one thing spoilt it for us....Parking. We expected to be able to park at the hotel or nearby. Free parking Yes. Only for two hours then you have to move. Being disabled this is not easy. You are only allowed two hours in a marked bay. The Blue Badge system is not as per the UK. You can't park on double yellow lines the parking bays for disabled are restricted to two hours. This was a down turn as I was constantly watching my watch!! However the hotel was fine and the staff excellent. We are planning another visit (MINUS THE CAR) In 2025 for our Golden wedding. Location is excellent and local transport good. So consider what I have said before your visit to Douglas IOM. Hilary and Graham

I don’t know where to start! Always a welcome from all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everything promised appears. The food in the evening was marvellous. Breakfast was super - especially the kippers and avocado! The rooms are well serviced and I loved the Penhaligon products. The chocolate, biscuits and waters were very welcome. To add to the stay we attended a family wedding in the function room. Fabulous wedding breakfast and amazing dancing! Special mentions to Kasia and Michelle who did their jobs superbly! Thank you.

My mother’s 80 th birthday party was a huge success down to the quality of the food and staff. Nothing was to much trouble and the whole family had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much Claremont hotel. We will definitely be back. Gary Christian

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is well positioned to shops. We ate in the Coast restaurant on our first night there and had a wonderful meal, Michelle and her team were so welcoming and friendly nothing was a problem. Breakfast was superb fantastic array of food from the buffet and a great selection of cooked dishes. Bedroom was very well equipped although we didn’t have a sea view which would have been ideal. Everywhere was very clean. We will definitely return in the spring next year. Truly enjoyable. Louise B N.Ireland

Was a great location. Service was good first day but then practically non existence the last two days. Coast restaurant staff were great, but breakfast staff were very poor on service. Coast restaurant not very obliging to hotel guests for dinner if you arrive late in day. Overall did not meet expectations.
