ザ・ウッドサイド(The Woodside)

From the moment we stepped inside the door, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the décor is modern and cosy, and the staff are lovely. Check in was simple and straightforward. We stayed in 'Oak' which overlooks the front of the building. The king room is spacious, with a lovely en suite shower room. We were delighted to find some tasty snacks, bottled water, and tea and coffee to enjoy. The room was warm, the bed was so comfortable, and the shower was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfasts in the morning, and our evening meal in the restaurant was just fantastic. Our only small ******, was that we could hear the people in the next room talking (and snoring!), and as the windows are old single paned glass, we could hear every car and lorry going past from early morning. A bit more soundproofing would make this a wonderful hotel to come back to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Woodside, as the standard of accommodation and hospitality is so high. We are planning a stay at the Allan Park in Stirling in the near future, and are confident that we will not be disappointed.

Loved this hotel. The room was cosy and spacious and the bar downstairs was lovely. I think it must have been recently renovated as it was modern but warm and welcoming. The restaurant was great - it even had a separate vegetarian menu which my wife appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful so do yourself a favour and eat onsite, but it's a good idea to book as they get pretty busy.

Lovely overnight stay with my wife. Lovely hotel. Room was nicely decorated and comfortable with nice touches including snacks, water, lemonade and coffee. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Excellent menu. Nice beers on draught and a great wine selection. Would 100% recommend. Will be back again!

We loved everything about The Woodside. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate and had coffee, tea and a kettle. Free breakfast in the morning was absolutley delicious. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the facility.

Beautiful setting and the building has been very well decorated and maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable and there were daily treats left for us. The food - amazing for breakfast and dinner - relaxed ambience, food served sedately but not slow, the restaurant and bar staff were very lovely.

Excellent experience. Comfortable room, surprise snack box, and exceptional customer service. Happened to mention it was my birthday during a delicious breakfast and was presented with a slice of Birthday Cake with a candle.

Every one at the woodside are so pleasant, friendly and welcoming. This was our second stay there. Perfect boutique hotel.

Very clean Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was in a good location for what we wanted to do during out 2 day stay. Food was excellent although limited choice for evening meal. Would stay again if in this area.
