It was just lovely! I felt welcomed and comfortable. Frances is very nice and lovely. The rooms are clean and you got tea and fresh baked scones when you arrive. The beds are comfortable. The lounge and the kitchen are a nice place to chat with other guests. I’m pretty sure I’ll stay there again.

Perfectly placed for the West Highland Way. We were made most welcome with a mug of hot tea and scones fresh from the oven. Frances was most proud of her home made jams and rightly so. We were the only two who were accommodated at Hillview less than 100 yards from Kip in the Kirk. This was a lovely building with lots of character including a log burning fire in the comfy lounge. Rooms were clean, tidy and most comfortable. We woke to 2 inches if snow but were still toasty warm inside. I would recommend it to anyone

The lady was lovely. The bunk house was clean and quiet. The location was perfect and the breakfast was free. What's not to love. I would recommend here as a cheaper alternative to staying in any of the over priced hotels or b&bs

This was such a nice welcome to the WHW. Frances was so so lovely and welcoming and clearly actually cares about what she does. As promised was welcomed with tea and scones fresh out of the oven, likewise the next day breakfast was lovely. She was also knowledgeable about the area and amenities and happy to advise. The bunkhouse itself was probably the best I've ever stayed in, it was huge, the beds were wide, and overall just spacious, not your typical hostel dorm experience. The bathrooms were immaculate and comfortable. Felt like an actual home in a good way. There was a friendly vibe where I made friends with other travellers that would become firm friends along the way. 2 minute walk from pubs, shop, restaurants. This is a hostel done well., thank you.

We as many others loved Kip in the Krik. Surprised us with afternoon tea and homemade scones when we arrived and the stay was super comfortable. Nice recommendations on were to grab some food and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for letting us staybFrances!

A comfortable stay in a great village close to Loch Lomond.

Warm, comfortable, friendly a**osphere. Very clean facilities and excellent local knowledge. Frances was very welcoming and the scones on arrival were such a treat after a long walk on the West Highland Way. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
