The hotel is located right off the main ***** in Dublin about .5mi down from all the main attractions. We liked that it wasn't right on the river (noise pollution) but still close enough to walk to everything.
Walking in the lobby is small but clean and well maintained. The staff were immediately welcoming and friendly. They explained the early check-in process for us which is £10 regardless and you can only check in 2 hours early. This was convenient for us since we only wanted to check in an hour early.
If you have more than one person they will give you an extra towel at the desk. The odd thing for us about that specifically is that they don't replace your towels everyday or clean your room every day like other hotels do. This may be a cultural thing, however, I'm not sure as it was our first trip to Ireland.
There were no breakfast options only a coffee machine down in the lobby that we were made aware of. As I mentioned earlier though there are numerous places within walking distance including a breakfast place only a block away that is amazing and even has a walk-thru window outside.
However, I HAVE to mentioned how terribly the bed was. I even mentioned this to the front staff. The bed was extremely hard and comparable to sleeping on the bare floor. I personally need a very soft mattress so I dont expect every hotel to be as accommodating, however, my husband likes a firmer mattress and even he struggled. We tossed and turned all night and didn't once get a full night of sleep.
The rooms are very small and there is barely enough room to even walk along the side of the bed. However, the bathrooms are cute and didn't feel too cramped even with us both in there. The overall hotel seems very clean and taken care of on the upper floors as well.
