Hotel imponente davanti al porto, ottima posizione rispetto ai trasporti, vicino alle fermate dei bus e della stazione del trenino che porta in città a Dublino. Davanti all'hotel un bel giardino per attraversare ed arrivare al porto, in 10 minuti si arriva ad un bel parco con giochi per bimbi e la domenica ospita delle bancarelle con artigianato e food tipici. L'hotel è dotato da spazi molto ampi e una grande sala colazione per accogliere molti ospiti, disponibile un ampia colazione salata Irlandese e l'angolo dolce con scelta nella norma senza grandi eccessi. Non abbiamo usufruito di ulteriori servizi che offre hotel, la stanza molto grande, letti alti e molto comodi vista favolosa verso il porto. Disponibile phon, asse da stiro e bollitore per qualcosa di caldo in caso di necessità. Essendo un 4 stelle risulta una struttura piuttosto datata con pavimentazione in moquette e assi in legno poco 'stabili' al passaggio, pulizia accettabile ma rubinetteria del bagno piuttosto scadente. Soggiorno comunque piacevole, al pagamento controllate sempre il totale, a noi era addebitata una cena non nostra senza avviso, risolto dalla direzione previo controllo dei nominativi.

We had a lovely stay in the Royal Marine Hotel. We booked a sea view which was definitely worth it as it was lovely looking out over the harbour. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable with two comfortable chairs beside the window. Breakfast was delicious and although it was very busy in the restaurant the staff were very attentive. Gluten free toast and cornflakes was available. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Stayed in this lovely hotel for a family celebration in April. Service was of an excellent standard - Danka, Georgie and the team looking after us at breakfast and Myat at lunch. Food was wonderful and we were very well looked after throughout our stay. We will be back!

Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the buffet breakfast which we chose to include with our room. Great variety from hearty to light options, but I especially loved the fresh fruit juice or smoothie served in the cute little glass jars. Also, the location was perfect. Walkable to restaurants and the scenic pier, but also close to the DART, which we used daily. We were able to store some luggage there, which was very convenient, while we traveled away from Dublin for a few days and returned for our final night. Finally, we enjoyed the small coffee “bar” and received friendly service from Dita. She clearly loves her job and had fun decorating our Lattes with a heart design.

We had a wonderful visit at the Royal Marine! Best location in town, nicely appointed clean rooms, kind and professional staff, good food for breakfast and at the bar, and Dita (our Barista) makes an excellent cappuccino at the Hotel cafe:) Highly recommended!!

Fabulous coffee - A work of art. Dora did a fantastic job. Great service from the team at Hardy’s bar. Well worth a visit. They even plied me with additional biscuits. Delightful. Perfect for an afternoon meeting business or pleasure. Very good value and super friendly staff.

We had a most delicious seafood chowder (the best ever!) in the atrium at Hardy’s Bar. It was served by our attentive waitress, Lorraine, who quickly and efficiently helped to make our first day in Ireland a pleasure. Our accommodation was comfortable and attractive and a short walk to the marina, maritime museum and quay.

I had an enjoyable afternoon tea birthday party and staff Krishna was brilliant and entertaining. The hotel lounge was cozy and the sea view was mesmerising. It was overall a lovely evening to celebrate my birthday. The food was tasty, although I prefer more choices with the sandwiches.
