excellent king double and a lovely breakfast. Staff good for breakfast but a bit immature in the evening.

third visit to this hotel rooms are to a very high spec and very modern and spotless clean hotel in centre of town with plenty to do on the high street and 50 yards from a lovely park food in hotel is excellent and plenty of it staff were so nice receptionist /night porter/waitress and even the cleaner said hope you have a lovely day will be back 10 out of 10 David ayrshire

Thin walls with no sound insulation. The metal ornament hanging above the bed rattled any time there was any vibrations coming from the adjacent room, and the headboard sounded like it was connected to the one from the adjacent room meaning you could hear the smallest of sounds while trying to sleep. The neighboring room guests were clearly having a good time through the night and the above issues did not help the case one bit. When I went down to mention this to the night porter Kyle, he was appreciative of the issue but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done so I ended up not getting any sleep - which was obviously frustrating because I was staying there for the night primarily for that reason rather than driving home after a social event. On another note, the bathroom also stank of sewage.

Although hotel clean, nice decor, friendly staff excellent food even a cafe ideally situated for the park, Abbey/Palace and town centre. They do not cater for anyone with mobility issues. I knew in advance there was about 20 stairs to first floor where the rooms are and no lift but they failed to mention the 30ish steps from car park to reception before tackling the stairs to our room. There is an entrance from another street which has one step to reception or a door suitable for wheelchairs. One way street with meters. I asked to bring in my husbands boot scooter (small mobility scooter that comes apart to fit in car boot) to leave in a corner to make it easier than taking it in and out of the car boot but was told the are not allowed in the hotel! A fire risk I was told incase it blocked an exit or door, surely it would not be left in such a position our scooter is no bigger than a pram which I saw in the hotel. Out of all these stairs 6 of them have a fitted stait lift. I would avoid, if stairs are a problem.

Pleasant stay when attending event. Staff friendly and helpful and right in the heart of Dunfermline. Close to shops and tourist sites.

Toilet made a noise all night long, and walls are thin as heard people in the other room snoring and there alarms going off for waking up

Hotel has had a fantastic refurb! Very comfortable rooms. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Amazing breakfast too!

We only had a one night stay as we were attending a show at a local theatre. Room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
