The hotel is quite good, very comfortable bed and bedroom, very clean, hot bathtub, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. I def recommend this hotel to stay in El Calafate. The only negative was the hotel's restaurant. The food was terrible, tasteless and expensive. I ordered a fish for dinner, and it came with lots of bones and no salt.

This is a very nice place to stay when in El Calafate. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to town, very doable, but away from the hubbub of the town center. Dinner here were quite good, breakfast was fine. Nice family feel. Scenic grounds. Worth a stay.

Loved the park like setting and the proximity to town- 10 minute walk along sidewalks. Room was large with a lovely view to green space. Breakfast was very tasty and filling with lots of hot and cold options and fresh pastries, juices , including Kombucha. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were in and out of El Calafate on our tour and stayed 1 night, 2 nights with the tour group and 1 night on our own. We were very pleased and would come back again

Nice big rooms in a quiet ranch like setting. There is a towel drying rack in the bathroom so it is a good place to do a little laundry. Easy walk into town - straight walk for 15 minutes or so. Very pretty grounds with a nice small bar and patio. Outstanding breakfast.

Excellent stay because of their helpful staff and food at the hotel! Close to town and just a beautiful location. The staff at the hotel was super helpful and the breakfast provided was excellent with many options every day. The restaurant has many great food and wine options too and the food was very tasty. Rooms were very comfortable and nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Kau Yatun hotel -- our room was very comfortable and the onsite restaurant (El Alambique) was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, with beautiful flowers and planting. Wish we could have stayed more than one night! Would recommend!

We liked the room and the location. Walkable to town but quiet. I don't like to eat breakfast early and made a SMALL sandwich to take with me for when I got hungry. The waitress came up to me and told me I couldn't take it with me. I said ok. She stood there and said it 3 out 4 more times. She wouldn't leave the table and was rude and hostile. This is totally uncalled for. This may be a hotel policy, as it is everywhere, but I've never had an employee come up to me and tell me to take it out of my pocket, and not leave the table once I said ok. BAD HOTEL POLICY!!! RUDE EMPLOYEE

Excellent staff, particularly reception staff who went out of their way to assist. Whilst the on-site restaurant was not run by hotel itself the food and service were excellent and good value. The thing you need to consider is that hotel is a bit out of town, so be prepared to walk (15 mins) or take a taxi.

Hotel is really good and in a great location - 15’ walk to the city center. Breakfast is amazing and super complete, friendly staff, clean rooms. The restaurant is own by a different company and you can’t charge it to the room.
