When I arrived it was 85 degrees F in the room and the AC did not work. I was moved to a much smaller room and no one mentioned any kind of adjustment in price.

I decided to stay here for a better individual experience rather than the large generic hotel nearby. It proved to be the right decision, I had a bigger room with better facilties and a more personal service. It's ideally located a 5-8 minute walk to either of the U11 Underground stations and the Essen conference centre entrances. Make sure you have a charged phone with you because you may have to call the remote reception to receive your code to enter the hotel and your room. The room was spacious with a kitchenette including a microwave, kettle and tea/coffee facilities - as was the bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The bed was also comfortable and clean. Andre was really helpful, made me a special bacon and egg breakfast and allowed me to stay a little later than my check out time without extra charge or hassle. It's the personal touch at Georges that makes the difference. Just to add, you may need ear plugs if you're a light sleeper because the hotel is on a road junction. I didn't need them and slept like a baby. If you're after a great location, excellent value and something much less corporate then head to the Georges Boutique Hotel.

All good but out of hours check in confusing. 2 keypads. One on wall not relevant. Fine once you know!

Gorgeous room, salts for your bathtub, waking up to wonderful smell of fresh baked breads. Convenient location to train station and perfect walking distance to Messe

Very good, only parking problem

Excellent, comfortable hotel. Feels a bit more like renting a private, modern studio apartment, since the facilities are limited. I enjoy this so it was perfect for me. They do have an excellent breakfast and are very centrally located.

Everything was great and easy! Nice breakfast!

Design

Wir waren als Paar eine Nacht in dem Hotel weil wir auf die EMS wollten. Am Tag der Anreise bekam ich eine Email mit dem Zugangscode zum Hotel und Zimmer und das hab ohne Probleme geklappt außerdem ist das Messegebäude gleich um die Ecke und dafür ist das Hotel perfekt gelegen.

Das Georges macht seinem Namen als Boutique-Hotel alle Ehre. Hauptnachteil ist, dass es bei Anreise im PKW praktisch keine hotelnahen Parkplätze gibt.

Even wennen aan de manier van contactloos inchecken. Bellen en daar je code en kamer nummer krijgen. Locatie is perfect om via de metro naar Essen te gaan. Parkeren is wat moeizamer gegaan doordat alles al volstond. We moesten even zoeken maar is gelukt om nog redelijk in de buurt van het hotel te parkeren. Kamer is ruim en prettig. Mooi ingericht met een fijne badkamer. Ontbijt was heerlijk en compleet. Een fijn verblijf gehad in Boutique-Hotel Georges.

Ich habe das Hotel wegen der fußläufigen Nähe zur Messe und zum Kongresszentrum Essen ausgewählt. Positiv: Hervorragende Lage in der Nähe der Messe, Schönes Zimmer (ohne Teppichboden), sehr gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal Negativ: Weder Kühlschrank (trotz Küchenzeile!) noch Minibar vorhanden, keine Möglichkeit Getränke im Hotel zu bekommen, Badewanne mitten im Zimmer ist zwar stylisch, aber ohne Duschkabine schwimmt das halbe Zimmer wenn man sich darin duscht (ich setze mich grundsätzlich in Hotels nicht in die Badewanne)
