My partner and I stayed at the Homewood Suites for a week when they started their new job in Fargo. I worked remotely from the room. We had a great experience! The room was clean and it was awesome to have a kitchen in the room. I had meal prepped my lunches before I came, so it was great to save some money with the kitchen. We enjoyed the pool facility and hot tub. While we never did make it down to the gym, it had pretty decent equipment. The breakfast was pretty good as well! Always hot options like eggs, some form of breakfast potatoes and meats, oatmeal, waffle maker, etc. I appreciated the house keeping staff. They were always friendly and helpful! Actually, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Working remote was comfortable as well! I had a desk and reliable internet connection. While the desk chair wasn’t the most comfortable, it was still nice to be able to have a designated work station for the week. We definitely plan to stay there again! I would also suggest it to family and friends. Good value, clean and what I expect when I stay at a hotel. I wanted to leave a positive review because the last few hotels we have stayed at didn’t meet our expectations. Good customer service is hard to come by these days, and Homewood Suites is doing it right! Keep up the good work!
Great pool area for kids! Spent 5 hours at the pool with 7 yr old. Friendly staff and room was clean. Would definitely stay here again. Free breakfast was standard. WiFi worked great our entire stay. Restaurants and shopping was very close by.
Stayed over the weekend when visiting Fargo for a wedding. We have silver medallion status and when we checked in, we were greeted with a keycard thanking us for our loyalty to IHG and mention of free internet. The room had a king bed and was on the first floor. It was a typical hotel room and was very clean and had done newer updates. When meeting with other family there for the wedding, we realized we had not received the pool wrist bands but we were not planning on using the area so it was not a concern. We did call in the morning and ask for a later checkout as our flight wasn’t until late afternoon (5pm), and with silver status we know that up to 2pm checkout is an option (when available). They hesitated at delaying our check out but then agreed to 12:30PM. The stay was comfortable and the hotel was clean. There are plenty of amenities available - gift shop, nice pool area, coffee shop, restaurant. And the hotel is very conveniently located to the mall and other shopping and restaurants. Cost was very reasonable but we also got a discount as part of the wedding block. Nice stay.
ゲゲストWhat a great stay. The room and hotel are VERY clean and well taken care of. It was very quiet as I assume it’s mostly a business hotel. We would stay here again and again. We did have the breakfast one morning and it was so-so but otherwise the entire experience was A+++. The room was really nice and very comfortable. Staff very kind and accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights. The pool, while small, was perfect! And a great hot tub.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to be treated rudely by the front desk clerk. Called for the airport shuttle. Nope, no shuttle that night as the clerk was the only one working. However, she did state she cannot be in two places at once and what more do I want. Ok, a cab was called to pick us up and was paid for by the hotel. Check-in was still with the same clerk and the attitude continued. She could not be bothered to tell us where the room was at. One would think not a problem except they have 2 building with 2 different elevators that are not connected on the upper floors. One very close to the desk and the other around past the pool. Went to the wrong building and had to go back down to the desk for more information. More attitude and now I even got hand gestures! Wow, I was special tonight. Signage for the rooms is very poor by the front desk area. She had an attitude from the start and clearly hates her job and takes it out on the customers. However, upon checking out, I did talk to the Operations Manager and was very concerned about my experience. She stated she would take these matters to the hotel manager and that I probably would get a call from him. Well, it has been 5 days with no phone call. Clearly, this hotel manager does not want to deal with my concerns at all. Do not book this hotel!
OOmarTheDogsMomFirst of all, the staff was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and always a smile. The hotel and rooms were clean. The reason for the low rating: The room was very, very small, no closet, just an armoire. The tub did not drain, I had to shower while standing in the water. No extra blankets or pillows. Furniture was chipped, small and old. The pool had crickets and beetles in it. The hot tub is obviously permanently closed as it has a large wooden cover over it. Only a had full of towels in the pool area and no where to put them after swimming; we had to just leave them in a pile on the floor. The breakfast was just sad. Actually the worst choices for breakfast of any hotel I have ever stayed at. It would be an OK hotel if you are travelling and need to stop for sleep only. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were pretty decent and the bedding was good.
