I need to start off by saying Farrah displays everything an organization is looking for when it comes to customer service! She is polite, empathetic, and was truly a joy to encounter when we arrived at 3:30a. My rating could have been given for her alone, but it isn’t, my great experience didn’t stop there. Every individual we encountered greeted us, was so polite, and professional. The facility was clean, truly a wonderful place to stop or stay. I want to be clear, I gave an excellent rating not because all was perfect, I actually did not get my confirmed connecting rooms, but excellent and flawless are not the same thing. The way the staff handled the error and communicated with me showed they cared, she went above and beyond in her efforts to accommodate me and my family, and that’s excellent service. Thank you Homewood Suites of Fayetteville, you made an impression on my family and I, you represented yourselves, organization, and your city well!
I'm a government contract and booked my reservation 2 weeks in advance using the ”US GOVERNMENT ON DUTY TRAVEL” which I use all the time for my official travel. On 4 Aug 24 the morning of my arrival, the hotel guest services sent me an email at 9:40 am stating the government rate was only for active duty and refused to honor the rate. I did not see the email, because I was already on travel and besides it was past the date that I could cancel. I'm on a GSA contract that only reimburses at the maximum per diem rate. I'm a diamond member for 9 years and have over 800 nights in Hilton properties. The ”US GOVERNMENT ON DUTY TRAVEL” did not state that it was for active duty only. I use the government rate all the time for my official travels without any incidents. I'm disputing the charges with corporate. It was very unprofessional for the hotel to send an email on the morning of check in stating that they would not honor the rate.
We received excellent service from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff to those checking us in for breakfast (which was fantastic by the way) to the grill masters 🙂 in the dining room. Every employee we encountered was welcoming, kind, and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the spacious bathroom with the waterfall shower head. My husband has stayed at an Embassy Suite Hotel several times, but this was my first. I will definitely visit an Embassy property again. Thank you for making our stay an extremely comfortable one.
I am not sure why anyone would put a 2-3 star when it is clearly a 5 star hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and write notes to thank their customers. I also love how friendly and personable the staff is. This is truly a great hotel that I will definitely book for future trips!
It was my husband's birthday he had just gotten a new pickup truck in March and we were driving it from RI to see his mom un Fla. As we were driving g a rock kicked up and pitted the windshield. We figured we would get that fixed once we for to our destination. Once we got into North Carolina we stopped for gas, there was a box truck at the pump next to us...of corse when he pulled away his rear bumper hit the passenger side rear quarter, taillight and bumper of our truck. After an hour of police reports and exchanging info for ins reasons we got back on the road.i felt bad as he was so upset. We finally get to the sleep inn hotel and the lady at check in was so nice...we finally get to our room just wanted to sleep at this point....well we get in the room and the towel rack was hanging off the wall, no biggie then there were bugs crawling all o er the floor of the shower and the fridge didn't work for hubby's diabetic meds...I went to the desk and asked for another room die to these issues. She got is another room again fridge barely worked. I went to the desk and td her I'd like a comp for the issues. She called the manager and explained the room issues and let him know we are choice members. He said we already got a discounted rate and he would look I to it when he got into work in the morning. So I guess a discounted rate gets you bugs in your shower and broken stuff in the room. Needless to say I didn't see a credit for the stay and do not plan to ever return to this hotel ever again.happy birthday to my husband who had one of the worst days ever.
LLaeyah2014Very nice place to come. Nice and kind people and also very clean and quiet. I do. Ot have any problem connecting multiple devices to the internet and also very big and clean room. My kids and my whole family loved this place.
I checked in around 11:30 p.m. hoping to get some sleep. Hotel had old beat up dingy look. Carpet worn. Room was beat up, old, and did not look like their nice website pictures. Lots of smudges on mirror/TV. There was lingering ********* smoke inside hotel and loud club music right below my window. At 3:00 a.m. approximately 6-8 police cruisers came to the club with loud sirens waking me up after sleeping only 2 hours. I left around 3:30 a.m. and drove home exhausted. I asked for a refund when checking out and was told to call back for a manager. When I did an individual identifying herself as the manager promised a refund within 3 business days. When the refund did not come I called back a few days later and was told that the person I spoke with previously was not a manager but a new employee, and there would be no refund. When I referenced the folio that the previous “manager-employee” sent me, the manager said that it had been sent from her personal email account. He did not apologize for that or anything else, was argumentative, and provided very poor customer service.
