One IBIS is like the other with its prefabricated rooms and the excellent mattresses. Only differences in IBIS hotels is the noise level (apart from construction work outside in the morning the IBIS Heilbronn was very quiet) and the quality of staff. Everybody was very friendly. Will stay there again.
In allen Belangen war es für mich ein top Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer in einer Superqualität mit einem tollen Bett in einem ausgezeichneten Badezimmer. Ein Restaurant, welches man in dieser Super Qualität in einem Hotel selten vorfindet und die Tagungsräume mit allem, was man braucht. Einzig die durchschnittliche WLAN Qualität kann verbessert werden. Zum parken des Autos gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Im Haus eigenen Parkhaus oder knapp 100 m entfernt auf einer Außen Fläche, die zu dem kostenfrei ist.

We had a family emergency and needed a hotel that’s walkable between train station, city centre and our family’s house. The BW Favorit checked all points. From initial check-in to our last day, the stay was outstanding. First off, the staff. We chatted daily with the front staff, they are very helpful, no matter what you need. Housekeeping is very thorough, we really appreciated how impeccably well they cleaned! The friendly breakfast attendants were a joy to see every morning. Which brings me to the breakfast buffet. Fresh German rolls, breads and pastries every morning, hot options, fruits, cereals, yogurts, cold cuts – we stayed 2 weeks and always enjoyed it. I really appreciated their dairy free milk option. They also have a great coffee machine; the cafe crema is highly recommended! We also spent the long Easter weekend here and the hotel made sure everyone had an Easter treat, thank you! The location is perfect for quiet sleepers, and I appreciated that every window opened for fresh air. WiFi was strong enough for streaming and getting work done. Only thing I’d recommend for improvement is limiting the dog friendliness to hotel rooms. I love dogs but we had a guest bring their dog to breakfast (it was not a service dog) and that’s probably not enjoyable for all guests.
I am a long time customer of Harbr boardinghouse in Ludwigburg. This time I tried the hotel. Made a reservation of a standard room, and upon arrival a room for disabled people was allocated for me. Asked to change but was told the system says that’s what I booked. Showed my reservation confirmation to no avail. Then I was offered to leave the hotel without charge, as they were fully booked. Nice approach… I was far from being the last guest that arrived that day. The reception insisted I reserved this room and my word had no weight. At no point I was told they were sorry but that’s what they had - the staff has no knowledge of what service is about. They feel they are making a favour and act accordingly. I was not happy and showed it, so I got the other receptionist making faces to customers that were queuing. Very professional… The structure is nice and the barman Carlos is the only light in the darkness of the staff in this hotel. The manager and the front desk responsible were aware of my dissatisfaction but did nothing to contact me during my 2 days stay. When talking to the manager it was clear that it was a waste of time to explain a customer was there and not a line in the system. Someone told me the service desert is a problem in many places. I witnessed it. I like to say good things normally as I appreciate good service. But that’s the reality I found. I want to believe the allocation of the room has nothing to do with my provenance.
