ホテル カラヴァッジョ(Hotel Caravaggio)

Adoramos a estadia. Hotel simples mas confortável. Estilo friorento do sec 19 antigo porém muito limpo e um staff super atencioso. Um destaque especial ao recepcionista Sr. Carllo que nos recebeu com muita alegria e bom humor! Muito perto do centro histórico e ao lado do mercado central … super indico e voltaremos !

The rooms furniture are old and smelly, pillows are dirty and and with a bad odor overall the room was dirty. The breakfast is served rigth next to the rooms on the first floor therefore 7:00 am you can hear the guests and staff as well as the food smell get into the rooms. I didn't like it and won't stay here again. The staff was friendly I have nothing bad to say about them.

We felt very welcome at check-in and enjoyed the lobby area and complimentary welcome drinks. But the room was very small for 4 people, much smaller than expected. Overall cleanliness was good, but the floor did not seem clean in our room.

The hotel location is ideal. Facing a beautiful and quiet tree-lined square, it's only blocks away (comfortable walking distance) from major attractions, including Mercato Central and the popular Caffe Gilli. The facility is clean and pleasant with excellent staff service. The included breakfast is of high quality. Should I return to Florence, I will definitely stay here.

Cigar smoker paradise. They have a garden outside the lobby where people smoke their cigars and smokes. I’m not a cigarette smoker but I do look for cigar friendly places and that is why I code this hotel. As a three star hotel, it didn’t really offer much. I had to buy my own toothpaste and slippers but… there is a local 99 cent euro store nearby where you can make up for these things. If you need to do laundry, there are 3 or 4 on the same block so I got to do my laundry too! The hot water wasn’t really hot and the water pressure was sort of low but that is not a deal breaker for me. The area is super safe! I went out to eat at like 9 pm, 10pm, even around midnight, I was never assaulted and no one even said a word to me. This is very important! You can walk everyday to the Dumos and across the river in about 10 minutes. The receptionists are very good at calling taxis for you. Beware, it is a pain calling for taxis back to the hotels as the apps and the phone lines aren’t good if you don’t speak Italian. No worries, I always walked back without any trouble. The train station is supposed to be dangerous but I walked past a few times after dinner and I never got robbed so that’s a plus. The breakfast is also acceptable. Unlimited eggs, cold cuts, cereal, nuts, fruit and honey to build your immune system! Do book this hotel. I would come again if not for the poor shower water pressure.

Great and friendly staff. Hotel located walking distance from train stain. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices… sweet and salty including boiled eggs , cheeses cold cuts and tomatoes

My stay was very pleasant. Everything was clean and the staff was warm and helpful. The room was fine although it could use a bit of updating.
