Lovely city break, stayed for 3 days. Superb location in the centre of Florence. Walking distance to all the major sites. Fabulous staff, Julia, Mathew, Alexander to name a few. Excellent hotel, spacious rooms. Immaculately clean. Amenities first class. Bar and breakfast area very comfortable with lovely views over the piazza. This is a very friendly hotel with some lovely touches. We will definitely return. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

This hotel is a tucked-away gem just off the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. We were shocked to look out the window of the breakfast room and to find ourselves right there on the square. From the hotel, it is a short walk to the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio, and a bit further to the Duomo and L’Accademia. Our room and bathroom were clean, well-appointed, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel’s breakfast was hands down the best we had anywhere on our tour through Italy. Of note, areas of the hotel were undergoing some minor renovations while we were there. Because the hotel is so close to a major public square, we had a good amount of street noise into the early evening. Also, you pay for the location, as this was the most expensive of any of the hotels we stayed in Italy. However, seeing how crowded Florence was during spring break, we considered ourselves lucky to have found a room and decided the extra cost was worth it.

We had a great stay! It’s conveniently located next to everything in Florence! The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs! Highly recommend for people who want to have a nice 2-3 day stay in Florence :)

Staff was very warm and welcoming. The room was large, as was the bathroom and shower. Breakfast was quite good -- eggs, bacon, and avocado, with a selection of pastries and fruit -- as was the one lunch I ate there -- risotto. The manager, Giulia, was charming and quite helpful, and undaunted when I asked her to choose a wine to accompany the risotto. (She made a fine choice.)

Our room was beautiful and we could see the Duomo! Located less than 5 minutes to the best sights in Florence: Duomo, Piazza Vecchio, Accademia, and Uffizi Gallery. In another 20 minutes you can be in the Oltrarno and Santo Spiritu area for great local restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is located in a narrow alley (completely safe) so pay attention when you leave to get back easily. Great staff as well!

Phenomenal service, truly caring & attentive staff. Beautifully appointed rooms and a fabulous location. Great breakfast too. The hotel is a calm oasis amongst the tourist madness! We stayed for 5 nights and adored every one. The hotel also accommodated our very late check out. We’ll be back!

The staff was lovely. The chef even prepared a pitcher of ice tea for me. They were all so gracious and offered assistance with taxis, reservations and information. In addition, the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

The Relais Uffizi is an exceptional location, hotel & rooms were clean, room was very bright with great sunlight, breakfast was delicious, and service very good. We had a minor issue with water pressure in the bathroom but the manager managed this exceptionally well. I would highly recommend the Relais Uffizi.

Well located hotel for Firenze sightseeing. Very accommodating for Americans, staff was friendly, attentive, and spoke English easily. Room was unexpectedly large, clean, and bed was comfortable. But there wasn’t useable furniture other than sleeping. No common area to speak of, so this was essentially a place to sleep and have a nice breakfast. The noise was a significant bother. Rooms are not soundproof by any stretch of the imagination - both for external sound from the street, and interior sounds from other rooms. Another bother was the thermostat was centrally locked and room got hot.

The hotel is nice, clean and modern. The location is great, a few steps from Piazza della Signoria, but that also has some drawbacks because you hear noise from the restaurants below throughput the day and night. Our room was right by the reception and we felt like we heard everything and they probably heard everything we said in our room as well lol. The staff was helpful but not overly nice. The reception is a few steps from the elevator, so you may have to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs and they seemed to expect you to do all these yourselves. We could do this ourselves so we were find, but you would never get this in the US, where somebody would rush to help you (tips expected). For the breakfast, you can order from the menu (ask for it, they don't always offer w/o you asking) or grab things that they leave on the table (croissants and pastries). You can also order whatever drinks you want (coffee, juice, water). I wouldn't say that it's the best breakfast I ever had but it was definitely enough. All in all, not a bad stay (great location, the room is clean and everything works) if you're ok with some noise and if you don't have very high expectation on the service.

Our room was beautiful! The view from the breakfast area was fabulous. We did not realize until we were there that the location was so near Uffizzi. We wish we had booked more time there. We definitely will stay there longer next time.

My 22 year old son and I stayed for 5 nights at this small boutique hotel. It is conveniently located within walking distance of great restaurants and amazing museums. The staff was very helpful in making dinner reservations for us...with the favorite meal of our trip at Ristorante La Giostra. Due to scheduling, we were only able to enjoy the complementary breakfast twice. Our breakfast was wonderful and the windows overlook the bustling square below. As an added bonus, high-end shopping is located very close to the hotel. Our room was clean, well equipped, and even had a cute little loft area with a television and seating area. Would definitely book again!
