perfect location and good services.

We stayed at the apartment room adjacent from the hotel. The room was spacious and in good condition. The staff was always super helpful and welcoming. Mario, Gabriele went above and beyond to help. Internet access was solid. Great place to stay in the historical center.

Every employee went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Never saw so many people making sure you were taken care of. Excellent location. They partner with a garage so if you have a car they will park it for you. Great price and breakfast included.

I knew this would be a great stay when I received an email 2 days prior to our arrival informing us if we arrived prior to check in time, feel free to drop off our luggage and head off to explore the city. The staff here are amazing, Mario & Gabriel went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. Our room (apartment) was in a building just around the corner from the main hotel. Complete with kitchen, it was perfect. Walking distance to just about everything and the hop on/off bus stop a 3 minute walk. We asked Mario to call us a cab the morning of our departure and stopped in for the breakfast. Excellent, and carried us all the way to Rome. If ever in Florence again, we will definitely try to stay here again.

We had a small apartment in the auxiliary building just steps from the main office. Complete with kitchenette, microwave, kettle and stove top cooking with all necessary dishes and utensils, it met all our needs. The staff were very friendly and truly helpful. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Hotel Santa Croce is a fine little hotel in Florence. It is centrally located near everything. The room was small but typical for a small European hotel. The bed was very comfortable and everything you need is provided. It is very clean. The breakfast is simple continental style but more than adequate, and the staff will make you as many delicious cappuccinos as you desire. The staff including owners Mario and Gabriel are wonderful; very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to stay here again if we returned to Florence.

My 83 year old mom and I traveled to Florence for a wedding. The owners/brothers, Mario and Gabriel were so kind. They made sure my mom was well taken care of. The hotel is located in the ideal location and walking distance to everything. Highly recommend Hotel Santa Croce.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel Santa Croce. There wasn’t a request the staff couldn’t help us with. They even brought out breakfast items that were celiac safe which was excellent. The room was small but the hotel is well taken care of. The AC in the room worked excellently. Location location location. Everything you would want to see was within an easy walk. We would go back to Hotel Santa Croce for our next visit!

The hotel is built into the old walls of the remains of the Florence coliseum. It’s on a lively alleyway next to the house Michelangelo grew up in and near Santa Croce square. For history lovers and people who like to be comfortably in the thick of things, it’s an excellent place to stay.
