Hotel Parco Delle Agavi

We had to change rooms as there was no hot water. But the subsequent room wasn’t as nice. Breakfasts were lacking and in general the hotel is tired and needs updating. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the gardens are pleasant.

We had a great at Hotel Parco delle Agavi. All of the staff were really helpful and provided a lot of useful information about trips and things to do in the area. We booked through a Voyage Prive package and had various day trips including transfers to and from the hotel each day, everything went smoothly and we saw lots of beautiful places. The hotel is a short walk to Forio. The food in the hotel is good and there was a variety of dishes to select from each day.

We came here on our minimoon for a weeks ‘wellness’ package through voyage privé two days after our wedding and it was a really nice way to see the Amalfi coast and surrounding without having the stress or organising the trip yourself, after having organised so much for the wedding. The hotel had left a welcome gift of a bottle of Prosecco and fresh fruit in our room, which was very thoughtful and a lovely touch that made our stay feel special from arrival. Also ischia itself is really nice and far less crowded a place to be staying and was our personal favourite of the islands. I’m going to talk a bit out the entire package trip as well as the hotel, as the whole trip seemed to be organised through the hotel anyway. So bare with me, if you are just staying at the hotel. It might be worth knowing the excursions they offer, in any case. The deal included half board, a mini spa package, which was a 30 minute body massage and facial on site, which was great and day trips to positano and Amalfi on one day and Capri for the day on another, all were great to see, but please be advised that positano and Amalfi in one day is a long day of travelling as it’s about a 2 hour journey each way and so the stops are pretty rushed, particularly at positano, I think we barely go an hour there. Before moving on to Amalfi for a couple of hours and then a couple of hours travelling home, but both are lovelymplaces. The day trip to Capri is better because it’s only about an hour away by boat, but you get the whole day there. We decided to pay extra to buy a guided tour (by bus) from a vendor on the boat. I can strongly say don’t bother with this. It’s rubbish. It’s an uncomfortable glorified taxi that simply takes you along with a bus full of people to only two stops on the island, ana Capri and Capri itself, for ‘shopping for the ladies’ as they seem to think that’s all women are interested in… it also cost us 25 euro each for this privilege🙄 we wanted to see the landmarks and history of the island but no such luck. The final inclusion was a ‘day at the beach’ in nearby lacco ameno, here on the island. Was a bit disappointed with this, as the hotel inexplicably cancelled on the morning we were supposed to do this, with only an hours notice, when we had got up early to travel there, which was annoying. They rescheduled it for another day, but unfortunately that day was cloudy when the original wasn’t, which was frustrating and the cancellation ruined the illusion of the seamless prebooked package trip we paid for. Nonetheless, the day was nice when it came around and the included light lunch at picoletto was a highlight and we enjoyed the limoncello tasting afterwards, though of course there is an obvious onus on you to buy something, but we were happy to oblige! We weee not expecting a five star experience but there was something a little lacking here. We attended on a Voyage prive deal and have previously found their ‘sponsored’ hotels to be excellent. This was very ordinary with average rooms and a really badly presented dining room. By contract the food was excellent the one occasion we took dinner there.

I was here with my family for almost a week, we spent a nice and relaxing time in the structure. The staff is pleasant and pay the maximum effort to make your stay perfect. Food in the Piperna Restaurant was carefully prepared, varied and cooked with extreme attention. Swimming pool, thermal pool and Jacuzi... all perfect and fully enjoiable. An honorable mention to the breakfast served on the terrace, one of the most relaxing and appreciated moments by my family.

Hotel molto carino, con giardino e piscina ben curati, scelto casualmente tra le poche strutture aperte dopo il periodo pasquale. Il fattore umano è sicuramente il valore aggiunto di questo hotel. Fin da subito si sono mostrati estremamente disponibili ad accontentare le mie richieste per cercare di organizzare una sorpresa di compleanno per mia moglie. La gentilezza e la cortesia è un comun denominatore che abbiamo trovato in tutto lo staff dell'hotel dall'autista della navetta che una sera ci ha atteso oltre orario per il ritardo del traghetto, ai camerieri capaci di essere professionali e amichevoli allo stesso tempo, alle receptionist che hanno esaudito ogni nostra richiesta, all'estetista che si è interessata della salute di mia moglie anche dopo il trattamento e non in ultimo il mitico e unico maitre di sala Paolo che ci ha deliziato con i suoi racconti di vita e sull'isola indicandoci ogni giorno che itinerario fare. Purtroppo la stagione del "molto è chiuso" non ci ha permesso di vivere a pieno Ischia ma sarà sicuramente motivo di ritorno al Parco delle Agavi!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Unica critica che vuole solo essere costruttiva e non negativa, maggior attenzione nella pulizie delle camere.

La struttura ha un potenziale enorme: un giardino bellissimo e ben curato. Una grande piscina dove potersi rilassare. Personale competente e cordiale che cerca di accontentare il cliente (tranne che per qualche cameriere a colazione). È possibile noleggiare, in loco, motorini o macchine. Vengono organizzare lezioni di yoga sia nel giardino che in piscina al mattino. C’è una piccola Spa che secondo me potrebbe essere sfruttata meglio. La nota veramente negativa sono le camere che non sono assolutamente da 4 stelle. Devono essere assolutamente rinnovate!!! Noi abbiamo prenotato 2 triple ma erano praticamente delle doppie con dei lettini aggiunti. Il mio lettino era un obbrobrio: materasso con le molle rotte, testiera arrugginita e con le ragnatele. Dormire è stato un incubo. Pochi appoggi nella camera, si potrebbe aggiungere anche uno stendino. Bagno molto piccolo. Non c’è uno specchio intero. Aria condizionata che funziona poco. Anche la colazione per me non è da 4 stelle. Sono stata in molti 4 stelle quindi so bene di cosa parlo. I prodotti erano tutti confezionati e non erano neanche delle migliori marche, perlopiù sottomarche da discount. Poca scelta per il salato. Uova strapazzate insipide e piene d’acqua, so farle meglio io. Inoltre, cosa per me veramente imbarazzante, la spremuta d’arancia se la vuoi la devi pagare a parte. È un ragionamento che potrebbe anche starci in una piccola struttura poiché ho un B&B e mi rendo conto che il costo è maggiore anche per noi albergatori, ma assolutamente no in un 4 stelle. (Tra l’altro nella mia piccola struttura io non la faccio pagare).

Struttura bellissima....personale gentilissimo sempre a tua disposizione....camere pulite....la mattina la colazione prevedeva un buffet abbondante il maitre gentilissimo accolti subito dandoci informazioni x visitare qualche posto e ci ha consigliato veramente un posto bellissimo una spiaggia straordinaria....veramente grazie di tutto a tutto lo staff a presto!
