Wonderful stay. Walked everywhere. Didn’t use the car. And the N ew River Tour boat dock right across the street.

Very nice hotel

Pros - nice pool, cool view, large room, location, restaurants onsite and a good happy hour. Clean. Cons - The reasons why I chose less stars. Air conditioning did not work in the room, it was running and we tried to put temp down, but it was sticky and warm in our room. I kept stepping into hallway to get cool. Rooms are outdated. Bed was uncomfortable. Lobby was really dirty, I don't think it is from lack of cleaning...its just the rugs and the furniture are stained on almost every seating area we saw and the rugs were dingy and dark. Surprising for an upscale hotel that hosts weddings and events that they would allow their facility to look unmaintained

Wonderful hotel! We stay every time we cruise from FLL. It has a perfect location on Las Olas Blvd. with shopping, restaurants, and easy access to the water taxi across the street. The only downsides are the lack/placement of electrical outlets and few, if any, USB ports and no grab bar in the shower used by all ages. Renovations will take place later this year and that will be corrected

I have been staying at this hotel for several decades and you can tell that there has been a change of management or ownership. Everything from the interiors to the rooms have become cheesy and low quality. Entering the hotel, someone decided to change the lighting to kill the old school ambiance that made this hotel special into cheap motel feeling. Gone are the bathrobes, quality toiletries and quality coffee makers. Just the cheapest "Motel 6" items. Very disappointed.

We had a very good one night stay. We loved the neighborhood and the Riverwalk right outside the door. Our small assigned room was quite warm upon checkin. Maintenance checked it out and called front desk to tell them we needed a new room. The next room was a tad bigger but with working AC. We used the on site transport to the cruise terminal the next day for $12 pp which was about the same as an Uber would have been. There were many many restaurant choices within easy walking distance. We would be happy to stay there again if we return.

This hotel is in a perfect location. The lobby, restaurants, and grounds are impeccable and lend themselves to a memorable vacation. Our room was clean, but had some outdated wood furnishings which have accumulated a musty smell because of the tropical surroundings. I was very happy to see that numerous renovations are scheduled for 2024 as this historic gem has the potential to be an amazing 5 star hotel.

noisy, door slamming all night, their gas leaf blower woke us up. great location. great bellhops and great checkin. perfect location and price is right

Very clean other than the old clock / phone charger. Well located for access to food, drink, shopping and river area. Would stay here again.
