ザ ドリフト ホテル(The Drift Hotel)

We stayed for 1 night end of Jan 2024, pre cruise in Fort Lauderdale. This property 1 block from beach with dining choices very close. No pool and minimal parking. New building being constructed across the street, some traffic & noise. 15 min drive from FLL Airport and 8 mins to cruise terminals. It worked for us for 1 night. approx $120.00 for this stay, booked thru *******.

I feel like the hotel must have new owners because it is nothing like the first time I stayed there. There is construction next door right now which wasn't really an issue for us because we don't stay in the room often and it was still quiet at night. If you're wanting to sleep in probably not a good choice. The courtyard used to be really cute but this time it actually had a car parked in it blocking the walkway. It was very odd. The location is amazing and the price was great.

Everything was great, just was annoyed listening to my neighbors TV all night through the wall lol

Close to beach. Clean, plain room in an old Florida property. A large high rise residential property being built across the street LOTS of noise. Good restaurant called Casablanca on corner near beach. Give our place a C given quality of property relative to price.

Worst $245 spent on motel. Staff was great. Location close to beach. Construction 7am-7pm I would not recommend

Very out dated, noisy, hard bed, smelled musty. Good location and nice pressure in the shower. You vet what you pay for.

Building a new hotel right across the street. They work from 7:00am until 1:00am. Extremely noisy, not able to sleep.

We read some previous reviews that were not so good and thought we'd arrive and see for ourselves. Everything was perfect. Glad we weren't dissuaded. Clean, room was spacious. Only complaint, no tissues or tissue boxes in room. Very convenient location. Casablanca Cafe was right up the street for a late night nightcap.

The customer service was great. The unit looked clean and organized but we woke up for more than 10 roaches in our unit and we continued to find baby ones crawling around throughout our stay. The is parking but VERY limited(like max can fit 8 cars) however that was our only complaints. Other than that we loved it here. Especially since it was a two min walk from the beach and walking distance from food and drinks.
