ファウンテン ベイ リゾート & マリーナ(Fountain Bay Resort & Marina)

It was as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. Property bungalows are probably the best on the island, but they are not on the beach, but next to an inlet that is connected to a mangrove with brackish water. Why with all that beachfront would you put your only 5 bungalows not on the beautiful beach?? The original chef was not there, but was at another owned restaurant. We were told they open for breakfast/coffee at 7:30, but no one there before 8am. we realized that we were an inconvenience to them so we adjusted to their schedule. One day the restaurant was closed for dinner and they could have texted us to tell us, but did not tell us, the only 4 people at the resort. We were told we could get a car on a specific day and they would take us to the close by grocery store and restaurant, but had to rely on their schedule to get around sometimes waiting for 1.5 hrs to go to eat. We were the only ones there the majority of the time and asked to get to a room closer to the beach. They said they would, but they never moved us. The last dinner the son (who was fantastic!!) asked if we wanted dessert, we were shocked as we were never offered dessert the other 5 dinners. Never, Never go there again, one of their other site restaurant staff would not allow us to sit at a table (all were open) and made us sit at the bar so she would not have to walk around the bar. When I asked for extra limes for Coronas and if the lobster was 1 or 2 days old, she got upset and did not ask me if I wanted to order dinner, she asked all the other people in my party, but left without asking me for dinner. So I did not eat there. Avoid this place, it is not a resort but a generic place to sleep.

The Resort itself is ok. As advertised there was no internet service. The television are not connected to cable nor satelite. So having a television that does not work was pointless. We were told that the cable was down. No ironing board was in the room and the amenities that were suppose to be in the room were not there. There was noone at the front desk to call and ask. The office was closed.

The resort is pefectly located in New Bight, with a beautiful beach view. The rooms are tastefully and adequately furished. The restaurant provided tasty meal selection. Above all, the property owners, the host made our stays special and unforgettabe. Kudos to the Russell family, our host, for their exceptionally warm and professional service. Definitely the best resort for a must return visit.

Felecia, Wendy, and all the staff were welcoming! They went above and beyond on my birthday! Made me a beautiful flower arrangement! And a lovely dinner!! The beach is amazing! The island people are friendly! Will be back for sure!
