Nice . Big rooms and clean hotel Good breakfast and nice location Every think was perfect for the price

Here for 5 nights. Lovely hotel, quick check in and room available early. Big airy room with corner balcony, views of the sea and mountains. Food plentiful usual buffet style with daily fish and meats (horse!) from the grill. Dining room quite busy with 2 bus tours Spanish and German. Evening entertainment enjoyable and drinks from bar reasonable. 35 step walk to stairs at train station 2 stops into central Fuengerola and 6 stops to Torremolinos. Quick clean and cheap. Same train goes to Malaga. 5 minutes walk down to promenade with restaurants bars, supermarket. A bit of a walk to marina but all on the flat. Would stay closer to main drag next time but would definitely return to Fuengerola to explore more.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and will continue to do so. For me, it represents, by far, the best value and customer service of all the hotels in Fuengirola. The service in the hotel is simply fantastic in all departments. All of the staff work extremely hard and should be very proud of their commitment to helping guests and ensuring they have a great holiday. Rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. Every room has a sea view. The beds are very comfortable (I requested a mattress topper). Wifi, mini fridge and a digital safe are provided within the cost of the room. The restaurant provides a great selection of very tasty food with an international menu. There is always a varied selection at all meals. On tap filtered water is provided free at lunch and dinner regardless of your meal plan. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available in the restaurant at very reasonable prices if you’re not on the all inclusive plan. The bars are well stocked and like the restaurant, prices are reasonable. The all inclusive drinks are not international brands although I believe there is a discount on branded drinks if you buy them when on the AI plan. The lovely grounds are spacious with plenty of loungers. The pools open at 10.00 and in the busy periods there will be a queue forming prior to opening time. Pool towels are available at a small cost and can be changed daily with the lifeguard. The pool bar sells a variety of tasty snacks in the afternoon, some of which are free to AI guests. I had a wonderful holiday made especially so by the really fantastic staff and I truly thank them for their genuine help and kindness. I can’t wait till my next visit in June.

Currently enjoying a great weeks holiday in Torreblanca ( Fuengirola ) and my twin brother Stephen and I are staying in the Hotel Monarque Torreblanca ,stayed here once before years ago ,had a great stay then and so our latest stay is proving . Checked in immediately by the very pleasant member of staff on reception ,allocated a twin bedded room on the third floor ,room was spotlessly clean and big ,flat screen tv ,fridge ,lots of storage space ,great shower room,comfortable beds ,a great terrace with superb views of the pool area and the Mediterranean Sea . As we were half board we were entitled to breakfast and evening meal , I really enjoyed the selection both hot and cold offerings ,coffee was superb and cold drinks reviving ,couldn't complain at all about the food on offer ,bars were also good in the hotel ,loved sitting around the pool and after swimming enjoying a few beers before exploring around the area of Torreblanca and Los Boliches a short walk up the Paseo Maritimo Repy De Espana ,location of hotel is superb ,short walk to the beach ,just can't complain about anything about our current stay here ,will definitely book here again.

Friendly, relaxed, comfortable, clean. We managed to get a local train travel card and could get from the hotel to pretty much anywhere including the airport so conveniently. The staff really went to town at Halloween weekend and were always so attentive, kind and friendly. The food was fabulous. I don't know how the chefs can offer so much variety and choice rvery day at such high quality. There is just one thing I would plead with them to do. Now that the rooms are renovated and upgraded to this century they must do likewise with the reception and communal area. A good friend of mine stayed here with us and she has travelled a lot. She loved it, like us, but agreed with me: the reception is the face of the hotel and this one looks cheap, tired and old-fashioned and belies the true natute of the place. It really would not cost a fortune to sort this out.I need to add a note of thanks again to the staff who could not be nicer.

We stayed here 18th -25th October as a group of 10 (2 families). The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and modern. The main hotel and pool areas were lovely and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you like a cuppa in the morning be sure to take a kettle as there is no kettle in the room. The train is just round the corner and great for exploring other areas. The beach is a short walk away and there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is also a local supermarket which is reasonably priced. We were half board, I wasn't keen on cooked breakfast but what brit abroad is as let's face it the bacon is never the same, there was always something for me to eat. The evening meals were good quality with variety, only downside is something's were no replenished quickly enough. We didn't go to the evening entertainment so can't comment on that. All in all a great, friendly, clean and welcoming hotel. There is a hill leading up to the hotel but the exercise did us good to burn off those extra calories consumed. This was such an easy trip. Out the airport, a 3 minute walk to the train station and a 25 minute train ride straight to Torreblanca station and the hotel is right there. It's a 3-4 minute walk from station right into hotel reception. There is a very short incline just before you get into hotel. Arrival was great as the staff in this hotel are always so friendly and helpful. This extends to everywhere, restaurant staff are lovely, cleaning staff are lovely, bar staff etc, everyone is so nice. I had room 406 with a spectacular sea view and looking directly onto the beautifully manicured large garden area with sunbeds well distanced from each other and positioned on the lawns. It's peacefulness personified to just lie down there and read a book. So quiet. There is a large(ish) pool down at the bottom of the gardens with a more livelier pool up above, and closer to the hotel. This tends to attract families, although it's never been really busy anytime I have stayed. I do like the small pool bar there and it's lovely to sit outside of it and just watch the families in the pool. It also has a small much shaded area if you wanted to get out the sun for a while. Amenities are a short walk away, down a hill, and about 5 minutes walk. For the less able-bodied people, it is a bit of a steep climb back up to the hotel. It's doable, but you may just need to stop and rest. Until 7pm, you can get into the hotel through a side-gate half-way up the hill by using your room card for entry. This saves going up that last part of the hill which is the steepest. What I loved most is being able to walk out the hotel straight into the train station and head to Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Arroyo de la Miel, Plaza Mayor (huge shopping area) and finally back to the airport. No need to buy a ticket as just tap your bank card onto the Renfe big red dots at every station and that's you. Just don't forget to tap that dot again when you get to your destination station. All-in-all, a great holiday (always) and I have already booked for my next trip back there.

The mattresses are too hard and poor quality so very difficult to sleep. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such poor soundproofing between floors and between hotel rooms and the hotel corridor. You literally hear everything in adjoining rooms! The hotel is right next to Fuengirola train station so you hear trains arriving and leaving til after midnight and start again early the next morning, If you want a restful stay in a hotel and a good nights sleep avoid this hotel!

Stayed here as a base for a lads 5 day golf trip. Had the all inclusive option and have to say the food was wonderful at breakfast, lunch and dinner servings. The variety on offer was fantastic. The service from all the staff was very efficient. The main pool was small but fine late September, not sure what it would be like earlier in the season but we had no worries getting sun beds. The pool was gated until 10am. There weren’t many children here and I got the impression this was an older person hotel based on the guests and evening entertainment available each night. There are only 2 lifts but as we stayed on the 2nd floor, we often walked down the stairs to save waiting. Might be annoying if staying on higher floors. Our room was great, clean, modern and had plenty of storage space. The décor throughout the hotel albeit clean had a dated look/style. This didn’t distract however from how nice it was. There was s small shop with odd opening hours plus a hairdressers which was always busy. In all I’d recommend this hotel which was a short downhill walk to the beach front and across a main road. There were plenty of restaurants and bars if needed although younger folk should head for party square in Benalmadena if wanting it more lively (in my opinion). Overall a nice place to visit.
