I would love to give The Westwood a 5 out of 5. The facilities are impressive. The room is efficient. The bathroom surprising chic. The commons areas are top-notch, and even better are the staff, who are friendly, warm, and helpful. My one knock is the noise, which cannot be controlled, especially during the Races. Every time a fire door shuts there is a bang, which can be disconcerting when revelers return in the wee hours. I state again, this does not reflect on the fine folks who worked hard to make our stay nice. It is more a reflection on me who needed to book a place to stay before starting a hiking trip in Inishmore. I just didn’t understand the scope of the Races. My wife and I enjoyed the walk through the campus into Galway. We found the Spar Market convenient, and we really appreciated the ease of use afforded by the laundry room. So, pack some AirPods and book your stay.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious and all the facilities were well-maintained. The location was close to town and right next to a bus stop which was very convenient. The staff were pleasant and happy to help us with any questions we had.

Well proportioned apartments and personal bedrooms. You’ll find everything you need in the shared kitchen/living room area as well. Modern really clean and an on-site spar shop to get the necessities too. Carpark img payable for €6 a day and within a 20 min walk of the university of Galway and 30 mins to Eyre square or take the bus located right at the spar shop

This would work for a college student traveling alone, but not for a family or even a couple. This is bare bones campus living. It is close to a convenience store so at least you can get coffee in the morning. Staff did not seem overly eager to be helpful. Rooms were clean

It was a great time spent in Galway. The hotel service was very helpful. The room was suitable for one person. A lot of space for your clothes. Desk to work. The only problem was with the electric socket because I didn't have an adapter for my charger. Hope to come back.

Leggermente decentrato, una buona passeggiata per andare al centro. Camere molto semplici e poco spaziose, con condivisione sul piano della sala ristoro. Adiacente un piccolo bar per la colazione. Parcheggio interno non sempre disponibile ma esternamente si trova. Visti i prezzi di Galway, è abbastanza conveniente.
