The best property in gangtok, service 10/10, food 10/10. Highly recommended.

Staying at Mayfair was the worst decision we made. We are travelling with a 2 year old kid and checked in expecting a great experience. However Mr Prashant at the check in counter made sure our experience was nothing less than pathetic right at the start of the stay. He gave us an ‘upgraded room’ which had a lot of construction noise. We requested for another room. He did not acknowledge that there is a problem and was outright rude and non cooperative. This happened on 2 occasions on 2 consecutive days. Because we are with a small kid, we requested for a room closer to the courtyard so that she doesn’t have to walk too much. Forget helping, he made sure to spoil our mood even further by his behaviour. The kids room is a sorry excuse with no toys and a broken tent and car with dirty soft toys. There is urine smell and stains all over the mat. Upon asking the staff, they said if they clean they will have to shut down the kids room for 3 days! The only saving grace is the restaurant staff who is courteous. Please stay away from Mayfair and rather have a pleasant stay elsewhere!

The experience at Mayfair, Gangtok was excellent. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially ***p, Sheetal and Renuka who attended to each of the needs with care at the Orchid restaurant and made you feel at home.The SPA is being renovated but they have shifted to a different location within the property. I got a Balinese massage from Babita who provided one of the best massages I had and got rid of my shoulder pain. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and go out of the way to help you with your needs. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I am back in Gangtok.

Beautiful place tucked into Sikkim mountains. Our accommodations were in bamboo villas which I highly recommend. The staff were very curtious, respectful and thoughtful. Specifically Pranab, Abhijit, Gobardhan, Renuka, Sheetal and ***ger Suresh. We enjoyed our stay here and had an opportunity to attend the evening Aarti at the Shiva temple (replica of Pasupatinath) on the property. Very serene atmosphere.

Simply awesome. Excellent place and very friendly people esp Neha Binita and KK very courteous and friendly. Had a great time. Happy to have skipped Taj and stay here. Huge food spread and lovely live counter.

The hotel is beautiful full of colour rooms are huge and so are bathrooms very clean comfortable beds staff at this hotel go above and beyond food was great they even made sure we ate as arrived later than planned the staff in restraunt were friendly and attentive food was eccellent could fault this hotel

Room cleanness is amazing and kitchen staff(chef) is too good. and one of your staff especially Sheetal, her service is very cool and we like it very much.

Wonderful experience at Mayfair . I stayed in this resort for close to 9 days. I was delighted by the hospitality and service provided by Binita. Subham , Abhijit , Neha and Reneku . The staff is down to earth and they provided excellent dining experience.

Amazing property amazing staff. Amazing food, loved the hospitality. Our stay was at the grand villa, very comfortable stay with private heated pool. Special thanks to Renuka n subharoy for taking care of us. Hi***shu ji was very helpful and aligned his team for us.
