ラ ヴィラ マヤ(Hotel Villa Maya)

Never again. Complete scam. We booked in for 1 night with our daughter. This hotel promotes itself as a 4 star hotel in St Tropez. In reality it is 2 star that could possibly be seen as a 3 star since you have access to private bathroom facilities. They charged us an outrageous €850 per night, pre paid non refundable, for the “Garden Suite”. In reality they had - literally - converted a garden shed (please see picture) into a cramped double bedroom with a sofa. They simply put a sheet straight onto the sofa as the extra bed for our daughter. Since this was a garden shed the flimsy doors and windows did not protect against either ants nor the 24hr traffic noice. The hotel is just above the main road into St Tropez that is a constant traffic jam in July/August. There were no blackout curtains and the pool lights were on all night so to add to the traffic noice we also had no darkness. I suffered the worst nights sleep ever. The pool is plastic with decking and astroturf around it. Avoid at all cost if you are looking for charm and comfort. Definitely not worth the money! There are plenty of beautiful boutique hotels in St Tropez, this is not one of them!

No Wi-Fi or cellular signal in the family room had my teenager upset the whole week. The hotel has a nice pool and the staff are kind and friendly. A car is essential as the beach and town are not close by.

for the price I paid- the hotel was sub-par. I understand it’s saint tropez and location is key, but the lock on the door was barely functional and quite difficult. The room needs a serious update and I paid for parking- yet there were no spots available when I arrived from a night out.

This place was exceptionally rude staff and unsanitary living environment. Do not recommend.

The staff is very friendly and competent. Good continental breakfast (sorry, no eggs and bacon). Good view from terrace.

Nous avons choisi le chalet et alors que dire du chalet !!!!!! En fait c’est un abri de jardin transformé en chambre ! Aucune isolation phonique ! Conseille pour ceux qui veulent passer une nuit blanche , sinon a fuir !! Escroquerie à quasi 300€ la nuit !! Marie

Avec ma fille, nous avons passé un week-end très agréable Villa Maya : literie très confortable, chambre propre et soignée dans un lieu vraiment agréable avec un joli jardin et des petites terrasses accueillantes aménagées de part et d’autre pour un peu de tranquillité . Le personnel est très gentil , et très attentionné. L’établissement surplombe la route vers St tropez donc bien sûr c’est un peu bruyant vu le traffic sur cette route mais à cette saison nous avons fermé les fenêtres pour la nuit et nous avons merveilleusement bien dormi car l’isolation est parfaite ! L’emplacement géographique permet un accès facile au bord de mer et aux différents axes routiers . Malgré les mauvais précédents commentaires lus critiquant l’état des lieux , je pense que des travaux de rénovation ont été réalisés car sincèrement cet établissement simple est juste charmant et je le recommande vivement.

Camere in periferia a Saint Tropez. Le camere sono ben arredate e pulite, la nostra era vista piscina. Parcheggio privato vicino alla struttura. Vista fantastica sulla città-mare Lo abbiamo visitato nel mese di dicembre, ci piacerebbe ritornare nel periodo estivo
