Romantic hotel with very nice stuff, food, wellness and a**osphere when your are looking for relax with family or in a couple… We apprecieted delicious “ala carte” dinner - seasonal menu combined with vine , rich bufet breakfast, wellness and eco-friendly

The hotel is stunning and has very few things to point out. The service was excellent, breakfast on offer way above average continental. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and provided loccitane toiletries were a nice surprise. We were perhaps unlucky as the room/mezonet above our room had noisy guests and creaking floorboards which kept us up most night. We enjoyed the pool one evening, which was also lovely.

Tastefully renovated property with comfy bed. Good breakfast and dinner options. Well manicured garden. Unfortunately non existent air-conditioning in bedroom and it is was stifling; noise from adjacent property was disruptive till 3am and no drinking water available in room.

Hotel is really nice, room are different than most of other hotels but i have to say they are unique. Food what we ordered for the dinner was fabulous and I strongly recommend it. The only issue we faced was that i was making booking via ********** with Breakfast buffer included. Hotel was not informed about breakfast part of the package. After clarification at reception they confirmed to add it on. As we were leaving before Bfast open, they promised to prepare breakfast packages for us with water, some snacks, croissant, etc. Unfortunately, next morning nothing was prepared as another receptionist didnt know about it at all. He also didnt arrange anything for us with comment that we need to wait for Breakfast when its open, which we couldn't as we had to get going on the road. Without breakfast or any water... but overall i dont mind to book it again.

It is a very nice hotel. Good location, great building and interior, friendly staff. Would recommend. What I didn't like: a) shower had no high shower head holder, just at hip height. Not sure why b) they charge extra for bowling shoes? that is very unusual normally you pay the lane and get shoes for free c) the restaurant was good, maybe they tried too hard and the prices were too high for the quality. Compared to what I'm used to especially in Western Europe.

We stay there regurarily and just love this charming hotel. Don't miss their restaurant Belene. Great chefs offer excellent dishes (French standard) at reasonable prices and menu changes on seasonal basis. I always look forward to eat there and love every dish on the menu. Hotel has cozy and clean rooms, huge gym, smaller pool is loved by our daugher & super sauna facilities to relax. Strongly recommend for a stay in Slovakia. The overall hotel is just lovely and their staff is friendy and professional.

This time we tried the Chateau Gbelany during our stay in Zilin. The building is beautiful, the hotel area is very clean and rooms are very spacious. Check-in was quite quick and the bathroom-products of high quality (L'Occitane). We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were shocked by the unfriendly staff & service level provided. Besides frequently hearing that the restaurant would close the kitchen in 5 minutes - at 20:30 - (not willing to wait for guests to decide on the menu), we never saw any employees in the restaurants smiling, talking in a friendly tone with guests or asking if more drinks would have been welcome. Instead of this, the music was turned off, lights were switched off and staff went home while we were still having dinner. I never experienced something like this before and would not be able to recommend anyone to have dinner at Hotel Chateau Gbelany. All other places have better service and food - unfortunately (due to many international companies around) - was too overpriced. Even higher than in Vienna/Munich downtown area.
