ホテル ヴィラ ダフネ(Villa Daphne)

This hotel is outstanding - beautiful boutique hotel, gardens, pool and the food and drink quality and service amazing. The rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean and all with quiet balcony to admire view of pool. The staff were even better - family run, super friendly, helpful and fun. Choice at breakfast was fantastic and changed every day. Can’t praise this hotel enough and the location so handy next to bus stop for Taormina in 10 minutes or Catania Airport in under an hour. One minute walk to a lovely selection of bustling restaurants or seafront with soft sandy beaches - much better than pebbles of Taormina and much more economical. Can’t wait to return!!!

Wow what a fabulous experience. The hotel is beautiful so clean and comfortable. The staff so friendly and helpful and made us feel like we were their most favourite guests ever! Although the manager is very naughty giving us complimentary cannoli and cake when we came back from our nights out!! I’m now trying to fit back into my clothes 😂. There are a couple of very nice restaurants and cake/ice cream place on the doorstep of the hotel and the food in the hotel is great too and a lovely setting on the terrace. Best bruschetta in Italy can be found here! Some fabulous beaches in 10 min walk which were empty when we were there in October. It’s a great time to go the weather is still very warm. Bus stop right outside so easy to do the airport transfer for only €6 and get into Taormina. Shall be recommending to all my friends - this is the place to stay!!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Daphne. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t have done more for us. Special mention goes to Claudia on Reception, she really is a Ray of sunshine. We only had B&B so I can’t comment on meals apart from breakfast which was excellent. A really nice hot and cold buffet. Will definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay, hotel room was a bit dated. Wonderful staff at this hotel from the warm welcome from the young lady on reception who had a brilliant smile to the waiters at dinner time. Will definitely use this hotel again.

An older property but well maintained. Not in Taornina but the bus stop is right out front and runs every 15 minutes.

Celebrating 30 years together myself and my husband opted to pick for small and friendly. We wasn't disappointed, the staff worked so hard right down to the cleaners who kept the place spotless. The waiters and the owner always served with a smile and couldn't do enough The rooms bright and welcoming,the beds we found very comfy. The safe is free, the air con nice and cool. We booked bed and breakfast, this was because we like a various menu with much more choice as i suffer from food intolerance. The breakfast has a varied selection that ranges from every thing you can think of continental style! The other thing no one has mentioned is this place also is well set up for disabled, ramps down to the pool area, lifts to the bedrooms. The added bonus we found with small and friendly is how quickly people got chatting and got to know you. If you are reading this Jill and Doug we enjoyed your company so much, the walk around Taormina to the walk to the harbor, you made the days fun!. There is a short walk to the beaches with a variety of places to eat with a pretty harbor. If your heading out to do a tour we can recommend Etna, and wine tasting, we booked this through our travel rep, mainly because you are more covered if anything goes wrong! The company we went with is ACIREALE if you get Anton he is a diamond, really knows his stuff and tells you everything about Etna with great passion, you can tell he loves his job!. The wine tour was a blast, plenty of wine to taste and lots of cheese and nibbles, which they will quite happily refresh your glass and give you more! There is a bus stop near the hotel so it makes it a excellent place to get to where you need to be. Taormina, beautiful views, great shops, and cafes, with the prettiest of streets. We loved every minute!.

Spent a lovely week at the hotel with four friends. A return visit for us we honeymooned here four years ago. The hotel in my opinion is even better than we remembered. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Lovely pool area. Possibly the nicest breakfast we've had abroad delicious pastries, cakes and freshly made hot food. Great cocktails too. Hotel staff were so friendly and professional. Special mention to Claudia and Nino. The manager was visible at all times and took time out to chat to guests. Lovely quiet room kept spotless by hard working staff. Thanks so much everyone

One of the best small hotels that I have stayed at. The location was excellent, bus stop down the road to take you into Taormina and only a 15 min walk to local shops and restaurants. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly and made our stay so very enjoyable. Hotel was spotless and breakfast good and plentiful. Would love to do a return visit. Thank you to all of the fantastic hardworking staff.

Just read all the other reviews, you'll not find a bad one. If there were 6 stars I would award it to the fantastic waiters Nino, Lechenzo,Simone thank you so much for working so hard with always a smile on your faces. That also goes for the Reception staff, Claudia and the others and cleaning staff. Spotless everywhere. Ofcourse the owner Romeo as well, who always makes sure that everything is exactly right and who greets you on your arrival and when leaving, he certainly knows his Hospitality business,many could learn from him , thank you , for one of the best Hotels we've been to. Book now you won't be disapointed, but please leave room for us, as We Will Be Back !
