Incredibly rude staff! We got to the hotel at 11:30 and they told us to wait an hour for our room to be ready. We came back FOUR hours later and got brought up to a room the cleaner had just started cleaning. Not only did the staff not accept that they had made a mistake, but we had to fight with them for half an hour in order to get the clean room we deserved! Additionally, while they advertise free wifi, the wifi in this hotel does not work!

Staff is great However. You need to pay to have a towel at the pool. You need to pay to have a towel on the beach. And when you are told that the hotel owns the beach what they dont tell you is that they don’t own the beach chairs or the umbrellas. They cost too. So by they time you have to pay for towels at the pool and towels at the beach with a chair this hotel becomes very costly They advertise free wifi. There is NO WIFI you log in for the first time and after that you don’t get wifi. There is NO WIFI

When the room A/C became faulty during the extreme heat, humidity, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in changing us to another room….nothing was too much trouble, very kind, caring and understanding to me as I wasn’t feeling well after long flight and chronic cardiac problems… All the staff were so friendly, patient and kind as we trie & struggled with our very poor broken Italian….lols Great holiday, wonderful memories…..GRAZIE.

This property used to be at a top level. The service, food and cleanliness are still good but not at a 4 star level and certainly not for the price they are wanting. The rooms are very dated and back to a time ( maybe some of you can remember) when expensive hotels bought the early LCD TVs and they were 13” but that was amazing back in the mid 1990’s. those TVs have not been updated and since. Nor the Channel lists to include English. All in all, great service and beach access is the only thing to write about here.

Great hotel, on the beach. A classical, large vintage hotel, with traditional values and Italian heritage and service. Top quality front desk, breakfast staff and what a fantastic location. Rooms are dates, but why be in the room. Use the massive lobby, and Pool areas. Special mention to the warmth exudes by all staff, especially Emmanuelle

Great hotel, beach front and super friendly personnel, totally recommended

The good The hotel is nicely situated right on the beach. While it's away from the center of Giulianova, the center can be quite easily reached on foot. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Even though we didn't use it, the pool looks clean. We had the royal room with sea view which was very big and could easily accommodate two more people if needed. The bad The reception and other common areas look good, the same can not be said about the rooms. These seem to have been last renovated in the 70's and lack any kind of amenities. For example a small coffee maker or a launch chair to enjoy the sea view would have been nice. The ugly Saying the walls are made of paper would be doing them a favor. This was amplified by the party going on downstairs until one in the morning, making it impossible for us to sleep. While annoying in its own right, this was once again amplified by the lack of insulation in the room. Meaning we were unintentionally waken up by the neighbors earlier than we had intended. Conclusion If you love the beach and are willing to make concessions to have beach access, this might be the hotel for you. For people looking to enjoy a relaxing stay, we would advice you to keep looking.
