ル クロ デュ クロッシェ(Le Clos du Clocher)

As we drove in, we were welcomed by the hostess. She made us feel very welcome. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. The room was large and very clean. A meal was prepared for us which was very tasty. The buffet breakfast was good. The gardens if the property are superb with some magnificent trees. We shall certainly be stopping there again.

Beautiful peaceful and rural location with friendly host who welcomed us. Rooms were connected, which was great. Gardens were beautiful too. Breakfast was delicious and there were numerous coffee top-ups. The host remembered our coffee/tea preferences and brought hot drinks first thing in the morning when we were sitting on the patio enjoying the birdsong in the gardens. When he heard that one of our party was a history teacher, he spent time showing us his amazing collection of artefacts from World War One, many of which had been found in the gardens. He was so generous and made such a positive impact on our stay, bringing history to life and helping us to understand the awful battle at Gueudecourt. Highly recommend this property and will visit again in future.

Nous avons eu une Wonderbox et nous avons profité de passer le WE à cet endroit:Belle chambre, propre et chaleureux. Bonne accueil. L'offre incluait un plateau de Charcuterie...mais en réalité le plateau était surtout composé de cacahuètes et apéro Belin (ci joint la photo), dommage!, Faudra faire un effort sur ce point...

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ! Le calme était présent , les propriétaires sympathiques et très aimables ! Petit déjeuner copieux Chambres très propres , bien entretenue , nous vous recommandons fortement 😍

Mijn schoonouders hadden de kamer voor mensen met mobiliteitsprobleem (queensizebed) waren zeer tevreden over de schoonmaak en de inrichting. Zelf hadden we het chalet Le caribou. Ook schoonmaak prima. We waren hier drie nachten. 2 avonden heeft de gastheer gezorgd voor goede maaltijd. Wat erg belangrijk is: de gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en had aandacht voor z’n gasten! Hij was maar alleen deze dagen en niet met z’n vrouw die wel de Engelse taal beheerst. Misschien daardoor dat hij misschien vergeten was of geen tijd had om onze verzoeken te voldoen (wc-bril in de kamer vast te maken en de kapotte tuinligstoel te vervangen) sowieso raadt ik aan om een stoeltje voor in de tuin mee te nemen,. De tuin is prachtig en je kan er dan heerlijk vertoeven ook als er meerdere gasten zijn . Het ontbijt verzorgde hij iedere dag met voor de variatie verschillend vers brood vd bakker.

Lieu et accueil très agréable ! Nous y avons séjourné fin octobre/début novembre, donc nous n'avons pas vraiment profité du jardin et des extérieurs, qui doivent être très agréables à la saison estivale. La chambre que nous avions était composée d'une chambre et d'une partie salon séparée, donc assez spacieuse. Possibilité de dîner sur place, soit en privé, soit dans une salle à manger commune avec d'autres convives. Endroit calme, sans vis à vis. Nous n'avons pas été au Spa, donc pas d'avis. Je recommande !

Excellent point d'étape pour la route du souvenir. Un cadre paysager et calme propice à la détente. L'accueil est chaleureux et simple.
