Love this hotel …..yes the rooms are basic and could do with some drawers but who comes to Turkey to sit in a hotel room! This is the cleanest place we have started in Gumbet after coming for many years ,the staff never stop . The staff are so friendly especially Ozzie who looked after us serving drinks to our longers each day and works really long hours in the baking heat all day and night he is an asset to the hotel . We came as a group in June and a couple in September this year and have just booked as a group to come again in June says it all

Otelin genel temizliği iyiydi, ancak odalar oldukça eskiydi. Servis ve personel kalitesi iyiydi, özellikle resepsiyondaki personel oldukça yardımseverdi. Ancak bazı eksiklikler vardı. Yemekler genellikle aynı çeşitlerdeydi ve her gün tavuk sunuluyordu. Ayrıca içkilerden memnun kalmadık. Sahilde tuvalet ve duş bulunmuyordu, bu yüzden havuzun kullanımına bağlı kalmak zorunda kaldık. Very cozy small hotel two minutes from the sea. Clean comfortable rooms. Cleaned up every day. Not a very large pool, but the hotel has only 70 rooms and there is always enough space for everyone. Loved the landscaping. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is only one caveat, the beach near the hotel is dirty, but we walked literally 10 minutes along the sea and found a place there. The hotel you want to return to. Huge thanks to the hotel staff. Очень уютный небольшой отель в двух минутах от моря. Чистые комфортные номера. Убираются каждый день. Не очень большой бассейн, но в отеле всего 70 номеров и места всегда всем хватает. Очень понравился ландшафтный дизайн. А персонал отеля максимально дружелюбный и участливый. Есть единственный нюанс, пляж возле отеля грязноват, но мы ходили буквально 10 минут вдоль моря и там находили себе места. Тот отель, куда хочется вернуться. Огромная благодарность персоналу отеля.

Selectum Colours Hotel Gumbet near Bodrum. Stayed Oct 28th 2024 for 10 days with son and his family. Weather good, sunny every day and temperature 27-23C. No rain at all. Food and staff really excellent and plentiful even when hotel was winding down with only 200 guests (max 1200). Puddings attractive but I suspect were mostly factory bought in, all other food cooked in house. Regular staples like soups, fried eggs, spaghetti and Diet Section usually in the same place on the buffet so that's a time saver as you rarely get a hot plate. Selection of food does change daily. No saccharine or sweeteners so bring your own! No bacon of course. The hotel was probably deluxe in its day but the many slopes and stairs (most, not all with handrails) would not be satisfactory in these H & S days but the rooms are decent size, shower good with wall dispensers of Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion, hair dryer & Air con. Lifts enable guests to get to most places even the beach. Kettle and supplies of tea, coffee and crema in the room t/w free water, sodas and beer in the mini fridge. Get milk from the breakfast buffet. Balcony. Location good as 15 minute taxi ride from Bodrum centre. Only noticed one solo guest and 3 or 4 walking stick guests. One young mum had tripped and was in a wheelchair. The varying step heights and slopes and steps made me nervous especially in the half light of evening so as a fit 81 year old I will probably not return but the younger family members very likely would as with its own beach, heated indoor pool, gym, games room, kids club and activities it is ideal for families. Wet Kits are half the hotel price in the shops just down the hill. Sad that there is no reuse corner whereby discarded play equipment can be deposited and reused. Hopefully guests gift on gear to new arrivals. The sandy beach area enjoys a very large shallow area for swimmers and non swimmers alike. Proper ground bean coffee served in the Lobby bar. Book the A La carte Restaurants early as all good, especially the Fish which had fish knives! Book swop shelf near reception. We got an excellent cheap deal as close to the winter shut down. Try for a free sea view upgrade. Local food is mostly expensive.
