Driving into the location you will overlook a large body of water of the River Wye. We stayed in Room 2, which had a great view of the river front. The room was clean and tidy and was very comfortable. We stayed one night with breakfast which was really great. The hosts were fantastic and would stay again.

Beautiful house! Idillic setting, lovely furnishings and clean! The host (I didn’t catch her name) couldn’t do enough to help. I had a cooked breakfast and my sister has poached eggs and both were cooked beautifully. We had a wonderful trip!

Imposing house, ample parking. Beautiful riverside situation, clean room comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom. Tina was a good host friendly and informative she cooked a delicious full English breakfast. My wife and I will stay again for sure we highly recommend the place if l was younger would like to go wild swimming there but would now be content to sit in the garden and enjoy watching the river and the plentiful wildlife. Foyles ub restaurant is a short walk away or you can eat a takeaway in the dinning room if you wish.

Second visit. Absolutely great. Super room. Great breakfast. Just so comfortable and classy. Looking forward to our next visit. Bedroom lovely and warm and bed very comfortable. Shower excellent with high quality soaps. Amazing river views and very close to village center. No faults at all.

Our hosts were very welcoming. Beautiful grand hallway and staircase: we really felt we were going somewhere! The twin room we were in was clean and pleasant with its own private hallway. The bathroom was large and clean. I enjoyed a lovely hot shower. The dining room was triple aspect with, not one, but two chandeliers. Views over the River Wye and to the fields and hills beyond. Excellent selection for breakfast: a buffet of cereals, fruit and yoghurts and toast and preserves and hot food you choose the evening before.

The owners have clearly invested thought time and money into making this a high class b&b. Wonderful riverside location. In walking distance of village. Great views. Great breakfast. Could not fault it. Superb.

Tina was a wonderful host. Nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was beautiful, warm and comfortable with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent parking facilities overlooking the Wye River. Great breakfast! Looking forward to our next stay

A wonderful 4 night stay at a beautiful 200 year old property in a great location. The hosts, Tina and Dave couldn’t do enough for us- we were spoilt and pampered and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, made with such care and attention. We didn’t eat lunch on any day, despite hiking and biking! The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was full of character and had beautiful views. Again,the care and attention to detail was fantastic and the quality of everything was very high- e.g. a very powerful shower. The garden was stunning and sitting watching the sunset over the river was quite special. The location provided us with easy access to the Brecon Beacons, Hay on Wye ( where the festival was on) and many other attractions.

We had a lovely room with beautiful views of the walled garden and river, the guesthouse is charming and very clean. We had a delicious breakfast and our hosts so friendly, thank you for a very relaxing stay and would definitely return
