Absolutely the worst place to stop trying to eat. The food "if you can call it that" was horrible. Ordered pizza, was served a pizza with a wet base, raw, took a bite and that was enough. the topping on the pizza consisted of some strange minced meat. Ordered toast eggs and bacon instead, this is how it was served... The chef cannot cook in any way and should have been kicked out.

First time staying here and will stay again. We liked everything about this small place on the Alaska Highway. Nice room, firm bed and nice sheets. Nice view of the St. Elias mountains. Hot water and nice towels. Good sized room. Angel and her son Austin were great hosts. We have booked for next year when we travel north to the fabulous Yukon.

Management wouldn’t honor the ******* price so be prepared to drive several more hours or agree to whatever price they come up with. The rooms are clean. The beds are rock hard. The room has signs posted warning against taking towels and letting you know you will be charged $100 if you do. Overall the place is acceptable given the lack of choice in Haines Junction but the mgt isn’t at all welcoming.

First I would like to say is that the people that run the hotel are very friendly. But as far as the room goes. You have no access to the thermostat. It is run by management. There's black mold growing in the bathroom in several areas. The towels are rags, literally. And there is a fine if you damage one of their towels. Personally I would use these towels only for rags on my vehicle. No microwave. No shampoo, no cream rinse. The television is approximately a 20-in screen. I did not measure it. One last thing, it was better than sleeping in my vehicle.

Hotel owners were nice & the outside of property we’re clean. The room was clean, but dated and had no heat. There were signs about charges for towels. We just needed a place to sleep for the night.

This was a lovely room with a kitchenette and was very comfortable. The street side of the building is a semi-abandoned gas station and looks a little dicey, but motel itself was very clean and pretty.

Rooms needed a lot of TLC and painting and cleaning. They just stream channels there so slow if everyone is in for the night. I had to call for bath tub plug. Slept with window open due to nothing to control cool or hot in the room. Not recommend. Owners did try hard to accommodate.

Clean quiet room with mountain view.. Staff were friendly. Lots of parking. Haines Junction is a remote town. We were very pleased to find such a nice placd.

Very much a motel. Was not greeted when checking in. Waited 5 minutes while the person did something on the computer, then they asked for cc and said room 3. That was the total conversation. Unwelcoming sign posted in the bathroom of the room.. see photo. Room was relatively clean. Bedding was simple motel style. Plate and cups in the bathroom were clearly dusty and hadn’t bern wiped in a long time. There was no hand soap or shower items, had to call and have them brought over. Towels were clean but rough. No housekeeping services during our 3 night stay. Not great lighting. No thermostat in the room. First night was too hot with the heat going, other nights were too cold with no heat going. Room doors are a simple door handle, no deadbolt or extra lock on the inside. Used the room for only sleeping because we were out exploring morning til night. Would not stay here again.
