モーテル ワン ハンブルク アルスター(Motel One Hamburg-Alster)

Wände im Zimmer beschmiert mit Farbe. An der Fensterseite, Bett keine Ablage. Badezimmer sehr klein gehalten, sodass man beim Aussteigen aus der Dusche, wenn man nicht aufpasst, in der Toilette steht. Was ich gut finde, dass Hotel hat 19 Etagen. Freundliches Empfangspersonal. Geben sich ausgezeichnete Mühe. Hat mich mehr als positiv überrascht.

I stayed one night and it was a comfortable stay. Here are the pros and cons for me: Pros: -The gentleman at reception was polite and very efficient. As the room was vacant he offered me a much earlier check in which was very useful as I had arrived early. -Hotel and the room were very clean. -It is located very close to a metro station, the area is fairly decent and not far from the city centre. It was a cold winter day. The room was quiet. Cons: There is no coffee/tea making facility in the room, which is a standard everywhere I have stayed before. I did not see any bins in the room and had to use the toilet bin for my rubbish. The room did not have a wardrobe. There was a basic rack however. I expect the above basic room facilities of a hotel in this class. Will I stay again? Only if I have to and found no better options.

Fidel at the desk was very helpful and atttentive..infact all staff were very accomodating and friendly..very beautiful clran modern hotel..glad i stayed here

Stayed at the Motel One Alster for 2 nights during a business trip to Hamburg. The hotel is located in the St Georg part of the city and right outside Lohmuehlenstrasse underground station on the U1 line (one stop from Hamburg Central Station). Additionally it is also within a 5 minute walk to Berliner Tor underground and S-Bahn station with direct access to the train to Hamburg Airport. Check-in was quick and the staff being very friendly. My room was located on the 8th floor and featured the standard Motel One interior. The rooms are certainly on the smaller side, but clean and modern. The hotel also features a very well stocked Gin bar downstairs. Again, staff being very friendly and attentive. Overall, Motel One is a no frills hotel concept but from my perspective it punches well above its closest competitors in this segment.

It was Ok, room too hot.

The hotel is very close to airport, room is small, bed is too soft. The room and public areas were clean. No information about hotel given during check in at night, you have to ask everything to receptionist. No room service, no minibar in the room.

Sort of functional and instantly forgettable - not nearly as charming as the one in Basel where we had stayed a couple of years ago. Had a good cocktail in the bar and the breakfast is pretty good. What was good for us was that you could easily cut through in 5 minutes to Lange Reihe - one of our favourite streets and full of good cafés and restaurants.

The hotel is located about 1 km from the central station.We had a bright room with a comfortable bed, a varied breakfast, very friendly and helpful service. Down at the lobby there is a nice bar open in the evenings with some snacks, coffee and drinks.

Very unfriendly staff! Did not at all feel welcomed:-/
