This was one of three M Gallery Hotels we stayed at while in Vietnam and only one to score a perfect five. From the moment we arrived late in the evening from our long flight we were made to feel welcome. The room was quirky with the highest, but most comfortable bed of our stay. We loved the timber floors, dark moody colour scheme and a bit of bling in the mosaic tiles in the bathroom. We frequented the downstairs bar for our evening nightcaps, amusing ourselves watching the punters try and find the nearby speak-easy or watching the Insta girls posing outside the Hotel. The location in the French Quarter was a perfect base for exploring the Old Quarter, lakes district or getting lost in translation ordering a chicken Banh Mi - chicken/egg - close, but very tasty all the same.

Stayed at Hanoi de l'opera hotel. Ms Hong has been most helpful and courteous making our stay most pleasant and memorable. Good Job and Thank You Very Much Highly Recommended as venue is central and convenient Safe and Easy to move around Grab Taxi is the best bet to get around 😍

Lovely hotel in a central location not far from the Opera House and 5 min walk to the lake. This was our first hotel booked for a 2 night stay at the start of our trip. It’s circa a 20 min walk to Train Street ( worth a visit ). It’s well placed for being in a quieter location whilst still being central as Hanoi is a busy ( and noisy ) vibrant city (lots of mopeds !). We stayed B&B here. It’s a mid size hotel - sadly the pool was closed during our stay for maintenance! The staff on reception were very helpful in organising a trip to a private clinic for me as sadly I succumbed to food poisoning after eating Street Food with a guide in the first night of our holiday- their organised a taxi for us to take me directly to the clinic though where I was promptly seen by a doctor and treated with IV medication for the next 5 hours. ( my illness in no way reflects on the hotel - rather on food consumed off the premises) The hotel was well presented and clean throughout our stay here. The decor is lovely too. Our room faced out onto the local school which meant that music started up at 6am for the Tai Chi !! Worth checking if like me you’re not used to noise and want a quiet room.

This was an excellent introduction to Vietnam holiday. The hotel is centrally placed and has very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The hotel is of a very good standard with an excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with very good beds. Meals and drinks are quite expensive as you would expect from a large hotel but with the location allowing easy access to various restaurants and cafes nearby it’s not an issue.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff is very helpful. The rooms were nice but not exceptional. We spent 4 nights in early April. Two couples in our party of six had issues with the rooms not getting cool enough (it was warm outside but not exceptionally hot). The hotel attempted to fix the temperature but wasn’t successful. The included breakfast and happy hour were very nice. The bed was comfortable and room quiet, the shower was fine.

Spent a couple of nights here for our initial Vietnam arrival stop. The hotel is ideally located for a brief Hanoi visit; close to the key tourism sites and in an upmarket part of the city. The rooms we had were disappointing, however. Both had a horrible smell of damp, which the hotel is clearly aware of due to the dehumidifier placed in the room prior to our check in. It was so dark - gloomy, almost. The bathroom was in bad shape and in dire need of renovation. The toilet emitting a rancid odour continuously. It was however very quiet due to being on the courtyard/atrium interior side of the hotel which was crucial to us as we tried to adjust to the time zone and maximise on sleep. The beds were super comfortable too. Breakfast - excellent. We ate dinner on our first evening in the restaurant too, and it was very good. The pool was having some work done on it for two days (needs it) and so we were able to use the outdoor pool at the Sofitel Metropole - which is a beautiful hotel just around the corner from the De l’Opera. The staff are keenly accommodating and pleasant. The hotel requires some love, and investment, that’s clear. The rooms need to be far brighter and lighter - painting ceilings and walls black is for goth teenagers, not luxury hotels! :-)

Location: one of the best located hotel in Hanoi town. Room: we booked an opera view suite, room is huge and comes with nice view of opera house. Unfortunately 706 is badly affected by the bass vibration from the nearby night club throughout of our 3 nights stay there. Had called reception about it on the first night and they have offered room change but I was just too tired to change room at 1am which I declined and hoping the next two nights will be better as they told me the music is not nightly, but it continues on every night. It will be great if hotel can advise us before assigning the room to us. Seems like everyone is aware of this as was told hotel has made many including police reports on this but even local authority couldn’t do anything about it. Try To void 706 if you are light sleeper like me but not sure about the other rooms on the same floor. Our friends on 610 (opera view suite) did not feel the sound vibrations. Welcome amenities wasn’t received upon arrival as our friend’s suite 610 received a cake, gm hand written welcome card and sparkling water. We only received after we have informed the front desk the next day with cake and fruit bowl. Probably some communication went wrong somewhere. Suite amenities which includes drinks from 5-7pm at the bar and hope it could be a bit more flexible throughout the day for non alcoholic drinks. So we can enjoy a cup of nice Vietnamese coffee anytime Overall, staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Breakfast food quality is great, we enjoy the bahn mi the most and fruit selections offer. It has one of the best location for especially who likes to stay close to the old quarter but away from the rowdiness of the busy district.

本当はレジェンドソフィテル（別のホテル）に泊まりたかったのですが、一人で泊まるには2,900はちょっと高すぎました レジェンドソフィテルの建物はとても綺麗でした。代わりに、1500～1000の価格帯で同じクラスとしては高い方のこのホテルを選びました。滞在経験は非常に悪く、その後の気分に影響を与えました。 夜は遮音性が悪く、隣の子供が泣いたり遊んだりうるさかったです 私はタバコを吸いました、それ以外の時は部屋で遊んでいる時はタバコを吸いませんでした 部屋に行くときにタバコに火をつけました「チェックアウトする前にトイレに行ってください。チェックアウト時に清掃員がフロントに言いました。トイレがタバコ臭かったので、フロントから1,400元以上の罰金を取られました。タバコを吸うには高すぎました。タバコがあるとは言われませんでした」喫煙には罰金、そしてその罰金はあまりにも高額だったので、彼らは罰金中毒になっているのではないかと疑ってしまいました、「***」！他の予定があったので一緒に遊ぶ時間がなかったのですが、最後に地元の友達がTikTokを作って公開したいと言い、保証金600元を差し引かれました。 「ハノイ オペラ ハウス MG ギャラリー ホテル」は中国語で「目覚め」を意味しますが、実際は泊まってみないと分かりません。ホテルはハノイ オペラ ハウスから 1 ブロック離れたところにあり、建築様式はハノイ オペラ ハウスとは無関係で、有名ブランドに近いです。ホアンキエム湖から徒歩8分ですが、どの部屋からもハノイオペラハウスやホアンキエム湖は見えません。周囲の高層住宅が視界を遮ります。ベトナムではタクシーが安いです。ホテルの部屋は合計32平米と狭く、部屋のレイアウト上トイレが無駄なスペースを取っており、ドアを開けるとベッドがあり、トイレとバスルームはテレビシリーズの後ろにあります。まず言いたいことはたくさんあります。

Part of the Accor group, this hotel is perfectly located on the edge of the old quarter and about a 3 minute walk to the Opera House. The hotel provided good recognition of our status with Accor. Our room was nice enough but with zero view. Design was quite stylish and we found the bed comfortable. Be careful with the bottled water: they provide 2 complimentary bottles but the large bottle of Evian placed on the table - which we also assumed was complimentary - actually cost us £5. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has a quirky little bar (called the Green Fairy). There’s a small gym on 3rd floor which is perfectly adequate and even a small indoor pool adjacent to the spa area. The buffet breakfast was very good and included a noodle and egg station. At 400000 VND per person, we found this to be good value for a hotel of this class.

We really appreciated the kindness and kind attention from all staff. We had a buffet lunch at the hotel and was pleased about the quality of foods, display. There are multichoice of salad, soup, sushi, seafood , both warm western warm dishes and Vietnamese style ones. The desserts are a plus. Elegant clients there and thoughtful staff.

I was just passing by for breakfast. The hotel and restaurant look so elegant and sparkling.  My daughter and I received nice support from Ms. Ngoc, PA to GM, and Ms. Huyen at the restaurant. Also, a young lady with the glasses even offered my kid something to take away when she saw we were leaving for a trip. It was so sad that I couldn't see her name yet.  And I love the Hanoi corner, especially the Dried Mountain Jelly Vegetable salad. We will come back for a longer stay and a memorable experience.  Thank you so much

Well presented hotel with very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and lovely swimming pool area. We passed on dinner as there are so many good eateries close by. Rooms were of good size. The hotel is well located for walking around the Old and French quarters.
