Nice hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. The room was spacious and totally sufficent for my wife, three kids (10 months, 3 and 6 years old) and me. The bathroom has grown a little long in the tooth, but in the end still acceptable. The included breakfast was ok, but due to the limited space, there was little choice. The staff was really gentle and attentive and gave us a lot of useful hints on Hanoi. As the hotel is located in the old quarter all important sights and also the central railway station are in walking distance (20 minutes by foot, but exhausting when you have luggage). Additionally you will find a huge number of small supermarkets, shops and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. Last but not least, the WIFI is working good. All in all we had a really a good time and we would stay at Little Diamond Hotel again.

Leider war das Hotelzimmer nicht sauber. Der Boden war klebrig und auf dem Badezimmer Schrank waren braune Flecken. Als wir da waren war es leider sehr kalt. Es gab zwar eine zweite Decke aber ohne Bettbezug. Als ich danach fragte, hieß es das die Decke nach jedem Gast gewaschen wird. Was mit Sicherheit nicht wahr war. Ein zweites Mal würde ich das Hotel nicht besuchen.

Nice hotel with reasonable price

The best thing about this hotel is the location, so easy to walk everywhere and right in the hustle and bustle of old quarter. Room was not ver big and did not have window. Hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was very average with not a lot of choice. We had a problem in that we booked a pick up from airport and had this confirmed by email nobody turned up so after a long wait had to make our own way to hotel with taxi. We even got the information desk to phone the hotel and they were told that we were not on the list! When we got to hotel man at the reception desk said driver forgot to go to pick up. Later on we spoke to a lady at reception who said that driver went but could not find us! So which version is true? Anyway the rest of the stay was pleasant enough and staff were friendly and helpful.

first of all, this is not a 5 star hotel if you are expecting one, you should continue looking the hotel is a older one, so you should expect some flaws But, for what you pay, and what you get, it is a bargain ! All we needed was a bed to sleep in and a central location. The hotel is situated in the old quarter, there are many eateries nearby, the closest being a pho restaurant and a ban mi restaurant, literally a 8 second walk once you walk out the front door of the hotel. Our room came with breakfast included. It was modest but quite filling. The breakfast had made to order omelet and Pho, as well as some hot entries.Of course there was fresh fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is the staff. THEY WERE PHENOMENAL !!! Everyone from house keeping, restaurant staff, front desk etc all were absolutely welcoming and gracious. Prior to our arrival, Ivy arranged for our tours on multiple days and also recomended many good eateries as well as shopping suggestions. She never steered us wrong. Being it was our first trip to Vietnam, we were a bit worried , but she told us not to be worried, and she was true to her word. A true gem !!

Great location in the old quarter, with full on Hanoi buzz from the moment you walk out the door. Nice rooms, with big, comfy beds and good bathrooms with plenty of hot water when you want a shower. Excellent breakfast, with more nice food than anyone could eat and help-yourself tea & coffee, in a comfortable dining room. Spotlessly clean throughout. Best of all, excellent service from lovely people, as efficient as they are friendly, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Great value for money, highly recommended!
