アマトラ バイ ザ ガンジェ(Amatra by the Ganges)

Every stay has some pros and cons... So do the 'Amatra by the Ganges' is. I was there with my 3 year son and 4 months old daughter. It was her first trip, so comfort, hygiene and attitude of the staff was most important. Thankfully my husband chose Amatra, which again has some flaws but lots of good vibes. Sharing some properties and drawbacks: •Special attention towards kids(providing khichari and milk at night from the side of resort) • tasty food with fast service. •found it neat and clean. • staff was courteous. • beautiful and big green area by the side of ganga. •cheerful and helpful staff (Wheather it is by the side of pool, front desk, room service staff or anyone else) Drawbacks were •frequent powercut(although they have good and speedy backup plan) •location. • can develop and maintain their kidzone. Love ❤to visit again.

We had an incredble stay at Amatra. Everything, from the delicious food to the exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and the courteous staff, was simply superb.While en route to the hotel, we took a wrong turn and got lost. Coincidentally, we encountered a hotel staff member named Ashu Rathore who, despite being on leave that day, went out of his way to guide us back to the hotel. We are truly grateful for his assistance. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Excellent location, superb caring staff both at restaurant as well as house keeping Service with smile and personal touch I visited with my wife, dad and mom. Staff was very caring regarding needs of my parents both in terms of food and comfort This was my second visit after 4 years

Amatra has a unique location within easy accessibility to Haridwar by car. The property is in a unique setting with beautiful surroundings on the banks of the Ganga and is very peaceful away from the busy towns. The food is excellent and Chef Balvantji and staff made every accommodation and request we asked for. Rooms are mainly for 2 people but additional rollaways can make it for 4 people. The leisure faculties including swimming pool (beautiful), badminton, archery, cricket nets and a kids club. Ganga Aarti is held every evening. We attended an excellent yoga session by Mr Hrithik one morning. Santoshji, the General ***ager is very helpful and accommodating, together with all staff. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Service specially in the restaurant is excellent. Preeti ji, ***ojji & Gopal Singh Rawatji provided exceptional service because of them would definitely visit again. Thanks for making our stay so memorable……………………………………………………………….

This is a beautiful property just by the Ganges and away from the crowd. It is very peaceful here with a tons of activity for kids. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful and you feel like at home. The food was so good with tons of options. Mr. Santosh Lalwani who is a ***ager here helped us a lot in every way he could. I would highly recommend this place for all kinds of needs.

Nice hospitality by Amartya by the Ganges specially the receptionist name Nikita she is really took good care of us. Would highly recommend for families. We enjoyed our stay. The evening Arti and snacks arrangements were fantastic.Hope to stay in future as well.

Our stay at this property was a good one. 1. The approach road is a pakka but a single road with quite a few pit holes. This road is only a 5 minutes drive. Follow the Amatra sign boards for directions and not Google map for the last 10 mins. 2. The resort is huge with lots of trees. You can spot ***go, cheekoo and guava trees too. Pet ducks can be seen in the morning and evening. 3. The river Ganga flows just behind the property with easy direct access. Taking a dip is not allowed here. Short Ganga aarti is performed by panditji every evening between 6-6.30 PM. 4. There are breathtaking morning and evening views of the Shivalik range and river Ganga. 5. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor activities, some are paid though. Swimming pool is of decent length with depth of 4.5 feet. They don’t have a kids pool. 6. The food is delicious and budget friendly. The buffet breakfast has decent options like a 3.5 star property. There are no places to eat nearby, so you need to order in the hotel. If you like drinking cold drinks, make sure you buy from outside before hand because one bottle will cost you around ₹100. You may order on zomato/ swiggy if they agree to deliver here as it gets really dark at night. 7. Rooms are spacious with all basic amenities. We opted for a room with balcony, which was huge. 8. Staff is courteous and service is quick. Overall, a comfortable staycation can be planned here as it’s a little far from the city. But summers can be really hot, so, you won’t be able to step out of your room. Plan in groups to enjoy to the fullest.

This is a hidden jewel, definitely worth a trip here. As the name suggests it is on the edge of the Ganges river and they have an in house priest for any prayer you may want to do. The river is spotless and you can drink from it. Spacious rooms ,large grounds for the kids to run around. They have yoga in the morning , Hrithik is a highly qualified yoga instructor, for beginners to yogis. Each small villa complex has four rooms with balcony access. Great place to just relax.
