We spent a lovely week at Sanbonani, which is close to Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful and our chalet was nice and clean. The swimming pool area is fantastic.

Love this place. Got timeshare there more than 30 years. Never get tired of this place. Lovely chalets. Two and three bedrooms. Tennis courts, swimming pools. Hotel and many more. Near to Phabeni gate to the Krugerpark. Lot of sightseeings from Sanbonani.

Enjoyed every minute we were there with whole family. Beautiful scenery all around. The kids loved swimming especially with the different pools. The chalets are clean and the view from our Chalet overlooking the river and mountain was beautiful and calming... will definitely be going back soon 🤗🤩💗

The service here is terrible. I would not recommend it. Marelie Lee and selester lamula have no people skills. They are rude and arrogant. My dad who is a heart patient could not take his medication as we where forced out of our unit due to being half an hour late as we got delayed due to loadshedding. We then got accused of stealing their cheap shower gels. Disgusting service. I would rather go to Mogadi lodge in graskop

Stayed in two bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet - shower & bath. Very clean, well maintained, grounds well kept. Restaurant also provides take aways. Staff very friendly and helpful. Its only downside was that they made no effort to provide guests with assistance during heavy load shedding, only providing two candles in the chalet with the entire week's stay.

Warm and welcoming staff plus an all round great atmosphere ensured we all enjoyed a very relaxing week. The bonus was the top class spa where we treated ourselves to treatments from massages to facials and even enjoyed the hairdresser. The restaurant serves delicious meals. Only the gym could do with a bit of extra care.

We were very impressed with Sanbonani resort! We were a group of six adults and four young children and we all enjoyed our stay. The chalets, facilities and gardens are so well-maintained and in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and attentive. The views of the river are beautiful! We enjoyed the warm pool and the spa. The resort is perfectly situated to access the Kruger National Park. We had a truly wonderful stay. I would highly recommend Sanbonani!

Beautiful resort with plenty of helpful staff found. They kept the landscaping impeccable. Our unit and deck area was cleaned daily except Sundays when staff deserve the day off. Very large clean pool area. We enjoyed the safaris and the Panorama tour. The food at the restaurant was wonderful. We were there in September when it seemed less full which was great for us. Very glad we chose to visit Sanbonani! Learned to play cards by candle light during the load shedding times.

We stayed in one of the chalets at Sanbonani Hotel Resort for a week. Our chalet was large and comfortable within a well-maintained and secure estate. At times of load-shedding, there was limited emergency lighting in the chalet but the main hotel building had its own backup power so remained fully functional. We were using the Resort as a base for visiting Kruger National Park; it was very convenient for this as it is one of the nearest resorts to the Phabeni Gate (c. 10 min. drive). The chalet itself overlooked the Sabie River where one can walk (at one's own risk, taking heed of the croc/hippo warnings) - this area was good for birding. As we were out for most daylight hours, we did not use the self-catering or braai facilities much but the level of equipment is quite good. The restaurant was pleasant and the meals of good quality although the menu is rather limited and very meat-based. The nice Sunday night buffet provided some variety and was accompanied by an excellent drumming and dancing troupe. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant. The resort has some good facilities including the pool and floodlit tennis courts as well as the spa.
