ロマンティック ホテル カスティール デーレンブロエック(Romantik Hotel Kasteel Daelenbroeck)

Beauuuutiful old tower and buildings in a quiet idyllic setting close to Germany (5 min.) and Belgium (25 min.). Very clean and well-maintained estate, bedroom, and bathroom. Excellent dinner food in the restaurant, but a somewhat underwhelming breakfast buffet. Very comfy bed, and while the room and its furniture radiate a romantic castle atmosphere, the bathroom is very modern - a perfect mix between the "old" that you want and the "new" that you need. :) HIGHLY recommended for a night or two.

The room, downstairs, was not cleaned well. Every where to much dust. At arrival we took a drink outsite at the terras. The tabels were not clean and even when we ask the staff to clean the table no action wat taken

It looks great however: staff is not competent and very unwilling the serve you. If there is no "vlaai" they simply do not serve something else. We asked for a dinner with Allergenen exceptions, that was a major challenge. Not available during breakfast! The shower was full with fungus! The toilet was leaking. The fish filit was full with little bones. The special ham was burned. The mini bar was filled with a used half empty bottle of wine. The shower went from hot to cold and back constantly without any action. The insect screen at one window was loose at all sides, no one installed at the other window. We had to go to the cafetaria across the street to get a decent meal after dinner. What was the reaction of staff during check out? We are so sorry you had this rotten experience. Please pay the full amout. Goodbye!

Great location, will certainly return, great ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff and who doesn’t enjoy having bites & drinks in a castle garden?

Absolutely outstanding experience. Every single member of staff was so pleasant, helpful and courteous. We stayed in the sauna tower suite which was beautiful. Very clean, and really nicely appointed. We ate in the brasserie for lunch and the restaurant for dinner. Both meals were excellent. We are planning on returning for the high tea. Cannot recommend this beautiful place enough.

Ontvangst top! Terence en de andere medewerkers hebben mijn vrouw en mij ontzettend goed verzorgd. Heel leuke kamer en alles oké ! Diner in het restaurant echt heeeeeerlijk! Super bedankt voor alles? PS …. Zoek de “hartjes” :) Hopelijk tot snel en succes met het bouwen van de toren !!!

Es sollten ein paar romantische Tage über den Valentinstag werden, wie wir es bisher von einigen Romantikhotels gewohnt sind. Jedoch ging dieses Mal die Rechnung für uns nicht auf. Es begann schon mit der Buchung, die ich telefonisch persönlich machte. Ursprünglich vom Dienstag, 13.02. bis Freitag, 16.02., was auch in einer Mail vom Hotel bestätigt wurde. Ein paar Tage vor Anreise erhielten wir einen Anruf vom Hotel, dass die Anreise am 13. aus Karnevalsgründen nicht möglich sei. Also mussten wir unseren geplanten Urlaub mit einer Vorübernachtung in einem anderen Hotel beginnen. Die Anlage und Zimmer sind wirklich sehr stilvoll und schön eingerichtet, aber das zu unserem Zeitpunkt anwesende Personal hinterließ einen absolut unprofessionellen Eindruck und war überfordert. Am ersten Morgen war Frühstückszeit ab 7:30 Uhr möglich. Als wir um 7:45 Uhr kamen, wurde der Frühstücksraum noch vom Reinigungspersonal nass gewischt. Das Service-Personal kam mit einer kurzen Entschuldigung (Habe verschlafen!) etwas später. Frisches Obst und Gemüse im Land der Tomaten, Gurken und allerlei anderem gab es am Buffet gar nicht. Von der Luft angetrockneter Schnittkäse aus Großpackungen, Joghurt aus Plastikbechern und Butter und Nutella aus den netten Plastikbehältern gehören nicht zum Frühstücksprogramm, was wir aus Romantikhotels kennen, hier jedoch schon. Im Wohnbereich fanden wir ein auf Kopfhöhe beflecktes Bettlaken. Die Badewanne wurde vom Personal genauso wenig gereinigt, wie die Betten hergerichtet, Das Bett auf dem Foto wurde von uns selbst so gerichtet. Am Valentinsabend haben wir im Restaurant ein Angus-Medaillon zu uns genommen, eines davon war mit einer dicken Sehne durchzogen, eigentlich rückgabefähig, wir wollten allerdings an diesem Abend kein Aufsehen. Der Kellner fragte nur, ob ich denn wenigstens satt geworden bin, ansonsten kam keine Verzeihungs-Handlung zu Stande. Wir haben in dieser Preisklasse noch nie eine solche Erfahrung gemacht.

De kamer was echt heel erg ruim en leuk ingericht. Badkamer was oud maar netjes en ik mis de stopcontacten bij het bed
