Great hôtel, very clean, very helpful and kind staff, super kid friendly and super welcoming at the restaurant. The animation staff is lovely too, always smiling and brining fun. Loved the facilities for kids. The water in the pools are a bit too cold in May though. Food is okay, not amazing. The spa is great, I had a massage from Maria and it was very relaxing, I loved it!

Spa was perfect, had a relaxing facial trea**ent from Alma! It was quiet with only relaxing music, nice products, would recommend it:)

I Had two appoin**ents in the Aegeo Spa with Maria and it was the best! Really relaxing massage and a really nice facial, the perfect addition to the holiday in Alexander Beach hotel. Also professional and really friendly staff, thanks for the experience!

The welcoming felt very mechanical and not the warm Greek hospitality I'm accustomed to. The over all experience was not what was represented. The dining room was a free for all. The buffet food was mediocre at best. Ordering from the menu was not offered. Many tourists smoking at this resort and all through the town. If you like huge double decker tourists buses brushing by you as you walk down a narrow lane that is the only access to this resort and the nearby tavernas, restaurants, bars and many tacky tat shops, then you may enjoy visiting this place. The house cleaning staff was very good. I will not be returning.

Overcrowded. Long lines. If you are smoke averse this is not a place for you. The huge busses on the road make for a toxic experience. If its lines with German and British tourists you enjoy, then this is an excellent destination Hotel. Food was below average. Our welcome was not in any way Five stars The same can be said of many aspects of this experience. Maximizing profits as a Hotel group is clearly the goal here. In summary; If its Crete you want to see for all the reasons people might visit Crete, then look elsewhere. (Rethymnon, Chania, Heraklion, in that order.) If you have scored a great deal for all-inclusive with a bus connection from Heraklion Airport and you like second hand smoke, then German and English are widely spoken. For me its 'Win some lose some'.

This wonderful place gets *********** from me and my family. As someone who was worked for The St. Regis and Starwood - I was completely thankful. Amazing place for families with small kids . We were there 7 days and all was wonderful and clean. For sure we will come back.

Stayed 1 week in late April and enjoyed the location by the beach, excellent staff from reception to beach bar and breakfast team Thanks. The room given was great with an upgrade well appreciated. Nice terrace overlooking the infinity pool (4 pools available in this hotel) and direct seaview. Room size was great too, good bedding, sofa, mini-fridge and tea/coffee facilities provided. The flat screen TV could have been never and nicer. Bathroom was well appointed and bright. I would suggest to provide better quality bath amenities with a big brand like Rituals or L’occitane products. Otherwise a very good and comfy room. Quiet place, relaxing and nice beach also. Breakfast buffet choice was good in quantity and quality. But maybe after a week you would like some new products. Played pool, tennis and used taxi service. Everything is perfect. Nice grounds and well maintained. Malia bars and restaurants are only 10-15 minutes walk away. Would like to come back when on Malia. And could recommend it easily. Go for it.

We had our summer vacation once again at alexander hotel with our 3 little kids and it was just perfect. The staff is super, they make all effort to make our holiday be amazing. The entertainment team was the best this year. Thank you once again for perfect holiday.
