Tam Coc Sunshine Homestay

This is an absolutely lovely homestay! It's just outside Tam Coc, so peaceful and quiet, with rice fields around it, but just a short walk or cycle into town. It's scrupulously clean, comfortable and attractive, with a big pool and fantastic food. Best of all, the owner is so nice and helpful! Try the homemade pineapple jam with delicious toast for breakfast and enjoy a good night's sleep in the peace of the countryside. The view from the rooftop dining area is gorgeous! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent homestay with helpful host just outside center of Tam Coc. Citycenter is walking distance, but the surroundings are very quiet. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful room with good beds (although a bit hard, but that’s Vietnam). We rented scooters for a very reasonable price, so we had every opportunity to see the surroundings and visit all highlights. The host also helped arrange transport to our next destination (also for reasonable price). A must stay in Tam Coc.

There’s a reason this place has such excellent reviews. Nga and her family are super accommodating. Don’t say no to the honey ginger tea and order the banana pancakes for breakfast if they’re on offer (slight additional charge of 15k VND). Listen to her advice and recommendations. The people and stay itself did not have to be so wonderful considering the location, and setting, are perfect. You will be a short and pleasant walk to tam coc and all of the restaurants on offer, no need to arrange transport. Getting to Trang an is easy, you can take a grab car for about 140k vnd.

Wow, this was such a nice pleace to stay! Set against a gorgeous backdrop surroinded by lush green rice fields and walking distance from the village. Our room was clean and comfortble and the host family was absolutely lovely and super helpful! The pool is awesome although it rained almost the entire time we were in Ninh Binh, so we only had the opportunity to use the pool once one evening, but I could imagine us sitting there on our sun loungers next to the pool, sipping wine. Breakfast is included but basic - usually some eggs, bread, fruit and juice/tea/coffee - plated up and delivered to the upstairs terrace with amazing views. Although basic, it was plenty and always freshly prepared and presented with a warm smile. Despite the rain we had a lovely stay and can recommend Tam Coc Sunshine Home Stay to anyone who wants an authentic experience in Ninh Binh. There is a fridge where you can get water andother drinks - just tell the family and they'll add it to your bill. A few books to read - or you could donate yours and some information of things to see and do in the area. The family was also very helpful with answering questions and giving directions and advise. Perfect place to just chill and enjoy. Really lovely! Great value for money!

We had a wonderful time while visiting Tam Coc for 2 nights. Location is perfect slightly removed from the main busy street. Owner is very friendly and provided us with detailed information about things to do and advice on traveling around the area. Also cooked a very very delicious breakfast (some of our favorite food from the entire trip!). Would 100% stay here again!!

Exceeded all my expectations. Peaceful, clean, secluded and in a beautiful setting, and only a 10-15 min stroll from Tam Coc. What makes this HS outstanding is the owner Nga and her beautiful family who all go out of their way making you feel genuinely welcome in every sense. Did I tell you about the magnificent breakfast? I will definitely be back👍🏻

I had a wonderful time staying in the here. It was so relaxing, it's in a beautiful setting just a few minutes walk into the centre of Tam Coc. The family that owns the property is so sweet, friendly, and helpful that it's hard not to want to stay longer.

A small cabin that is quite spacious, a swimming pool and a super delicious breakfast. Very nice, smiling and helpful owners. Bicycles or scooters for rent. The facility is located a bit off the beaten track of the town and offers peace, quiet and relaxation, slow down and appreciate what's around you. It would be wonderful to come back.

What a find this Bed and breakfast (homestay) is. Wonderful host Nga is at the very top of her game and nothing is too much trouble. Location at the base of a limestone tower is pretty epic and its short walk (less then 10 mins) - a perfect buffer/distance from the lively and at times, noisy town with its great cafes and restaurants. The 6 cabins are very comfy and have good ensuite bathrooms and aircon. The breakfast was superb, excellent omelettes / eggs / pancakes, fruit, fresh bread with juice and tea or the v strong Vietnamese coffee :) We borrowed the free bikes to cycle off to a local pogada whilst Nga will also provide scooters if they havent already been allocated to other guests. Nga also did our washing - 3kg for 150k Vnd which was massively helpful. Overall an absolute bargain for this wonderfully hospitable, restful and scenic property....we were sad to leave after 3 nights.
