My partner and I stayed at Unembeza for the first time and what a delightful lodge it was! The “house” we stayed in was the best we have stayed in and so spacious and everything needed was there including walk-in wardrobe. The 3 meals each day were first class every day. The staff manager Frank catered to our every need and went out of his way to purchase Chemist items - all staff were professional and accomodating to each and every thing. It was a lovely relaxing atmosphere with small animals roaming around the grounds and the pool area was calming and relaxing. I went to the spa for a back massage which was lovely. There were game drives available from external lodges if desired . We will definitely stay at this lodge again for the relaxation between large lodges

A truly heartwarming stay that we will never forget. Upon arriving at Unembeza we were greeted and taken care of in the most welcoming way I’ve ever checked into before. Our entire stay from start to finish was simply perfect and we have created the most amazing frozen moments we will cherish a lifetime. The place is outstanding but the staff working here are simply in a league of their own and could teach some major outfits a thing or two! Don’t change anything - can’t wait to be back! For a person who needs utmost seclusion; a break from the city life, this is a definite go to. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Constance made us feel at home with her infectious smile, together with her team they took care of us from the moment we arrived at Villa Mbali until we left. We were arguably the most fortunate guests as we were also welcomed by the sighting of a leopard. The pool side was so refreshing, the massage and the nature drive made it special. The bomma night was the highlight of our stay.

We stayed at Unembeza's Villa Mbali, a beautiful property just a short walk from the main lodge. The cabin was right by the main house, but felt private and secluded. It was tastefully decorated and well-stocked with amenities, including homemade cookies and an indoor/outdoor shower. Each morning, we found different animals venturing through the property: monkeys, warthogs, kudu, and guinea fowl. The lodge staff were warm and hospitable and helped us organize fun outings to visit Kruger and the Panorama Route and explore the neighboring wildlife reserve, where we saw giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck, and lots of birds. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge each day -- and the meals were fantastic. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend it!
