This hotel is very expensive to what it offers. the first night they didn't have hot water then I reported and they keep me waiting for hours, until the issue was resolved next day. They do not have hair conditioning and body lotion in the room. The beach doesn't seem like in the pictures and the whole town was a floating mess. the mosquitoes bit us very badly right outside the hotel

A fantastic nice hotel with a great family feeling. Extremely nice staff. And the hotel is perfectly located within close walking distance to everything.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Super low key vibe, amazing food and cocktails and a clean and quaint room with a view! I will be back!

We loved our viait to Isla Holbox. La Palapa was wonderful - quiet, clean and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The food and cocktaila at the restaurant were top notch. Would recommend.

Hotel was nice if you are trying to relax and be away from the younger crowd. I do think the price I paid was too expensive for the type of room I received. But the staff was super nice and made my stay more pleasant.

The hotel is very nice, the grounds are impeccably maintained. There were few choices at restaurant for as a gf vegetarian. There was no hot water in shower or sink, ever. The staff are so friendly and lovely!

I was disappointed in the quality of the rooms and conditions. Granted, there were some problems with infastructure on the island when we were there, but the toilets wouldn't flush and the urgency of the hotel to correct this problem was lackluster. I had to ask multiple times for a worker to come fix broken toilets before they came. I felt like the overall energy level of the staff was lacking. People watching youtube at the front desk when my toilet keeps breaking and then not responding. The condition of the property was good and breakfast was nice.

The hotel itself was nice. However, the area around it has lots of construction that made it smell like sewage most of the time, due to the construction it was also really noisy and there was lots of garbage on the street. The water can be cloudy at times but 5min walk away from the hotel the beach is really nice, which is where we ended up spending most of our time. The staff was really attentive and happy to recommend places to go.

We had an excellent stay at La Palapa. Hotel is right on the beach in a great location. It is just on the edge of the main beach so you don't get lots of noise but it is only 2 mins walk away to the beachside bars and main town restaurants. Rooms are lovely. The beach is raked daily to ensure it is free of sea****. Breakfast was delicious as well. Communication with the hotel is excellent over whatsapp too. Very happy with our stay.
