The estate was beautiful and the spa was superb. I enjoyed walking around the the estate and appreciated the collection of artworks.

My 76 year old mum took my niece for a three night stay as a treat in April. They had some light meals and drinks served to them in the hotel bar on three occasions. When mum checked-out she was horrified to see £148 service charges added to her £240 food and drink purchases - over 60%! My mum is a polite, compliant pensioner and she paid the fees. She was embarrassed to tell us, but when she did l queried them with the hotel to be told that they were 'discretionary' as detailed in their T&C's, and that this is 'normal in hospitality'. Mum says she was never made aware that the fees were optional. The receptionist and manager that l spoke to were both very embarrassed when l asked for an explanation, so l suspect that even the team are uncomfortable with this practice. The £148 is being refunded, but the bitter taste in the mouth remains...

Lucknam park exceeded expectations! The estate and grounds are exceptional, the room was absolutely perfect. The service was wonderful, in particular Daniel went out of his way to make our stay extra special. He gave us a brilliant tour of the grounds which was really a highlight of our trip. He is an asset to the hotel!

One of the most luxurious and most friendly hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff obviously enjoy working here which greatly adds to the all round joy of being a guest. We were made to feel more like a house guests than visitors. Daniel, who brought up our bags and was thoroughly welcoming whenever we met, deserves a particular mention. The young staff in the Walled Garden Restaurant, and the staff in the Spa were all equally amenable. We always felt to be very well looked after. The spa is the most luxurious I’ve ever encountered and never overly busy, which added to its restful feel. We will definitely be back. Lucknam Park has become my go-to luxury destination for complete r&r, thank you!

We had our stay at the beautiful Lucknam Park on Monday 27th May 2024. Our experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. We was greeted at reception by the wonderful Amanda, she was a great person checking us in and asking how was our drive up etc. This was a very special stay for us as I proposed to my now fiancé. The hotel management sorted everything out from start to finish, I honestly could not fault anything they had done for us in setting up everything for our proposal. Finally, would like to thank Daniel who was ready waiting to take our bags and make sure my car is well parked in the car park, what a great gentleman he is. The Grand Master Suite was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Will 1000% be coming back in the near future. Thankyou to all the team at Lucknam Park. A great group of people. We had an absolute wonderful stay at Lucknam Park. A charming country house hotel with gorgeous gardens and a vast amount of land to explore, we even visited the equestrian stables on site to have a look at the horses. All the staff we came across were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Manor room, which was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Afternoon tea in the lovely bar area was great - sandwiches/savouries, scones and patisserie selections were all well-made and very delicious. Dinner and breakfast in the new Walled Garden Restaurant, was great too. Really enjoyed some relaxation time in the fabulous spa, loved the indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool and the thermal cabins, especially the Japanese salt room. A special shout out to Oliver in the bar and Amanda at the hotel reception, thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We stayed here for a few days and there was a lot to commend it. Staff were excellent and the land and gardens are wonderful. The restaurant for breakfast was very strong with great fresh choices and very good execution. The main restaurant was ok for dinner but portions were tiny and service a little slow. Perhaps trying too hard The room was nice but perhaps a little tired.
