Horsham North

The hotel location was good for us with a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Parking was free in a safe car park. The hotel room was fine and the bed comfortable. What more do you need for a short stay visiting a town.

Stayed for 3 nights. Really well located for exploring Horsham, less than 10 mins walk into the town and only a couple to get to the lovely park. It looks a bit uncared for outside but our room was absolutely fine in fact the bathroom seemed to be recently refurbished. Our room overlooked the large car park at the rear so we didn't get any traffic noise although I expect the rooms at the front would do as it's a busy road. Typical, reliable Premier Inn feature so I slept really well, although I was woken one morning by the dawn chorus. We only had 1 issue, it transpired that the key system was only allowing 1 active keycard at a time so we couldn't get 1 each. Great reception staff in the Premier Inn. The attached Beefeater was excellent although the service was slow 1 morning. The manager, Ray, was really good. We can recommend the Sunday roast, as good as many we've had elsewhere.

Premier Inn North Horsham can only be described as a budget hotel and getting quite tired now, I've stayed on many occasions and always think the staff make it special. When I arrived on my latest visit I was greeted by James who couldn't of been more helpful, he found me a room on the ground floor as I suffer with arthritis in my knees and find stairs hard work. Since that first meeting I have really enjoyed chatting with him about the town and what's going on locally. Well done Premier Inn for finding staff like this.

Presently staying here and just checked in with a very helpful chap- James. He couldn't do enough for me - collected my bag from safe keeping and carried it to my room. He made sure I had everything i needed. Very nice to have such a polite and friendly welcome!

I arrived late on Friday evening and was taken to a filthy room which, by coincidence had disabled facilities. The bathroom was so dirty that I went straight to reception and asked for an alternative room. I was advised by the receptionist that there weren't any other rooms available, as those who had not checked in yet (11:30pm) had specifically requested the rooms they had been assigned, and there was nothing that could be done. He did offer me a free breakfast; I explained that if I wanted breakfast, I was happy to pay for it myself; what I wanted was a clean room (how insulting!). He said this was not possible. I asked for cleaning products to clean the bathroom myself, but he said none were available until housekeeping arrived at 9 am the following day. I then went back to reception and asked what would happen if a guest were to vomit in their room. Were there emergency supplies available? I showed him the pictures of mould, dirt, toothpaste and something very unpleasant on one of the chairs. He said in the event of someone vomiting; there is a bucket and some scrapers to pick it up, but no cleaning products!!!!! VILE! He suggested I contact guest relations in the morning. But they don't work weekends; tomorrow was Saturday. At this point, he made it very clear that he didn't want to talk to me. I explained that I was leaving early in the morning and would not be returning until late on Saturday evening. I asked him to arrange to have the room cleaned. When I returned in the late evening, I asked the person in reception to come down to the room with me. It hadn't been cleaned (shock). He, however, was shocked by the thick black mould and other dirt; in fact, he took photos too. I explained that I am immuno-suppressed, so a dirty mouldy room is not something I can safely deal with. He asked what could be done, and I said I would like a refund. He said he could not process a refund but would speak to the manager the following day, and someone would call me on Sunday or Monday. I have not received a call, and it is now Tuesday afternoon. I always use Premier Inn as I have only ever had good experiences (other than the raw sewage in the basement in Tolworth last year), but this was absolutely shocking!!! What makes it worse is this room has disabled facilities, so should be the very cleanest of all the rooms on offer as people requesting these facilities may have health conditions which the filth in the bathroom could aggravate.

My partner & I stayed here for one night last weekend. We’ve stayed in other premier inns. This one needs updating in terms of decor and really needs air conditioning. The rooms are very warm and when we arrived the window was already open, but despite this we didn’t sleep particularly well because of the room temperature. A shame as Premier Inn hotels are good value for money.

Visited this hotel to meet up with family and because it was by the railway station. Took a day trip to Brighton and et with family for granddaughters birthday.

Breakfast was not very tasty, tea and coffee very poor,the outside of the hotel looked very tired as did the rooms.

Very good accommodation and restaurant. Very close to the Train station. Ingrid was especially helpful in the Beefeater Restaurant and the Breakfast and evening meal was delicious. My room was very comfortable and the receptionist very helpful. Definitely recommend
