Von checked us in is amazing .. The stay was great, need a little work in the housekeeping department but overall the stay was good. The location isn't far from the beach. There are many places to eat around the area even walking distance from the hotel..
Hilton loyalist with hundreds of stays over the past decade. Stayed here on business. The property is centrally located among a wide variety of restaurants and touristy things to do. The breakfast offered is superior to a standard Hampton breakfast, just nicer touches. What I most appreciated was how great the staff was. When I checked in, I was helped by a young man named Savion, who welcomed me warmly and patiently answered my many questions. Truly thoughtful, I also had a particular request about my room, one that I've asked for many times - but Savion genuinely thought about what I asked and actually was able to to accommodate me. Another young lady with glasses the next night was quick to help get me more hot water when the dispenser ran out, even though I was interrupting her dinner. She did her job, but the difference was that she did it with good cheer. Not always guaranteed these days. The staff was consistently friendly, including the breakfast crew. The rooms themselves have some wear and tear, but the beds seem clean and plenty of space in the room. Internet seems fine. Parking may or may not be a pain.
OOlga SThe hotel staff is absolutely amazing! First when we arrived we had problems with our fridge and since my husband needed his insulin refrigerated we got moved to a different room. The morning of checking out we were leaving before breakfast and the very nice hotel receptionist and a sweet kitchen chef Marie made sure we got hot delicious breakfast sandwiches. Will stay there again!
ゲゲストI wish they had more pork free options for breakfast. Other than that the stay was great. We were in the area to see a relative who was in the hospital and the friendly staff listened to my mom while she told them about what was going on. They were very friendly. And people seemed very relaxed there. It was quiet ....and one night, my mom and I came in at close to 11 or 12 at night. My mom wanted some fresh decaf coffee and the staff made a fresh batch for her. They didnt complain. Very nice of them.
ゲゲストHotel was overbooked, called us in the afternoon to explain the situation. They have found a sister company that could accommodate us. It was on the other side of Pensacola. I specifically asked the manager if the room would be just like what we booked with them and he said yes. At the end of the conversation I made sure it has two beds AND a pull out couch. He said yes. He was on speaker and several other people in my party heard him. We get to the sister company and we were not given the same room. We are a party of 7 (one baby), and we got two beds. Two of us, plus myself, had to sleep on the floor. The sister company blamed Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn blamed the sister company. I used to work in the hotel industry and I have had to redirect several reservations due to overbooked rooms. I made sure the reservations I was moving had the correct accommodations and enough beds for all parties to avoid things like this. After driving for 16 hrs to get to a room that does not have enough space to sleep, is not fun and really inconsiderate. The sister company did offer another room for the 3 that had no bed, but only at the rate of $252 extra.
