ザ ヒルトン ブッシュ ロッジ(Hilton Bush Lodge & Function Venue)

Very nice setting, units a bit grubby, nice breakfast... We booked and paid in full online, traveling form Fiji I wanted to make sure everything was sorted but it wasn't... I requested a early check in with my booking... we arrived at 13:00 we were told our unit was ready, on arrival at our unit at 13:15 we discovered the previous guests were still in the room.... we had to wait for them to vacate the unit and for the unit to be serviced and cleaned...I checked in online and it stated our room nr as nr 1 but we got a different room nr, nr 3 on checking in... Sorry to say we will not return to this property when visiting SA again... Wasn't what we expected from this star rating.

A fantastic time in a beautiful location. Accomodation was excellent, well appointed and spacious. Incredible views from the unit. All round we had a really enjoyable and relaxing time staying at Hilton Bush Lodge

The venue was adorned with impressive decorations, and while the food generally impressed, there were some notable shortcomings. The beans were served cold, and the absence of nuts on the side was noticeable. Dessert options were insufficient, leaving some attendees without the chance to sample each one. Despite these culinary concerns, the vegetarian options were well-received. However, the venue could benefit from more attentive service, as there were not enough bartenders to meet demand. The absence of a lit fire and background music also detracted from the overall atmosphere. Additionally, the absence of rice in the menu was noted. On a positive note, the accommodation and venue's aesthetics were commendable, offering stunning views. Unfortunately, several issues marred the experience for some guests: Upon arrival, one guest (Brandon) found their room in disarray, though the staff promptly organized a team to rectify the situation. Another guest, Connie, experienced a power outage in her room, and despite the efforts of an electrician, the issue persisted. Feedback from those who had breakfast suggested that the quality was subpar, with some expressing a desire to skip it should we re-book for next year. Moreover, the presence of planned cocktail tables with grab-and-go drinks on ice was a thoughtful touch. However, there was only one such station observed, and its visibility was limited. Consider enhancing the visibility of these stations to ensure all attendees can easily access.

I booked a room for my daughter to spend with her baby on her first birthday. I was away in the UK and asked the lodge if they would be able to put roses and champagne etc. in the room. And leave a birthday message from me. Lisa provided it all and made it so special for them. And had balloons and cupcakes with candles at the breakfast table. I’m so thankful to her! She went above and beyond what I expected. My daughter said it was the perfect setting to spend her daughter’s first birthday. And although they were only there for 2 nights, she felt so rejuvenated. And the meals were excellent! And the staff were so welcoming. Thank you Hilton Bush Lodge!

Hilton Bush Lodge was exquisite. We stayed in the luxury suite with a neighbouring standard room. Everything was excellent, from the location (beautiful bush setting close to a new little centre with everything a a family needs). To the room decor, spaciousness and with every amenities of a comfortable home. To the beautiful rooms and bathrooms with the most incredible views and soft luxury linen and towels. To the pool and the mini hike from the property to the waterfall. It was a much needed break away for my family with older kids and we had a great time.

The room is large and comfortable, with a beautiful view. Also very private. The most thoughtful thing was the milk in the fridge for our coffee! That's a first! For a long trip from Jhb to Dbn it was the perfect stop. We were able to experience a bush holiday while on our way to the sea.

Stunning venue and accommodation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the waterfall from our room. Went there for a friend's wedding and had loads of fun, food was delicious and great service all round.

We went up to the Hilton Bush Lodge for a wedding recently. Everything was superb, the venue was incredible and the rooms were great! They provided to all of our needs, gas stoves and kettles to ensure coffee during load shedding was an absolute win!

I wanted a secluded retreat to get some peace. This is the perfect location to relax and unwind. Nobody bothered me, the owner/manager went out of her way to accommodate me over and above what was expected. Even booking a fabulous Thai massage for me. I even got some free advice on life which I really needed.
