Having lived abroad for many years, I’ve experienced quite a number of world-class hotels and the highest standards of service and facilities. Even compared with those hotels, the overall design philosophy of Luming Valley, the meticulous attention to both interior and exterior details, the restaurant cuisine, and the service provided by the staff are all truly top-tier. Mr. and Mrs. Zhu are exceptionally warm and hospitable, and the story behind their creation of this hotel was deeply moving. It added many wonderful memories to our trip to Huangshan. For travelers who wish to experience a local boutique hotel beyond the usual international brands, while still having very high standards and discerning taste, I can recommend this hotel with complete confidence. 长期生活在海外，体验过不少世界级酒店和最高水准的软硬件服务。即使和这些酒店相比，鹿鸣谷的整体设计理念、内外装细节的精细程度、餐厅的菜品以及酒店人员的服务，都堪称顶尖水平。朱老板夫妇非常热情好客，他们建造这家酒店背后的故事也很打动人，给我们的黄山之行留下了很多美好回忆。对于想要体验国际品牌之外的当地酒店、同时眼光又比较挑剔的客人，这家精品酒店完全可以放心推荐。

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! We don’t think we have ever met a team that is more welcoming, friendly and helpful! The design of the hotel is very artsy and beautiful, and the room is very spacious and clean. We can only recommend staying here, the location is excellent for anyone looking for a getaway in nature. Food is amazing, and we even got breakfast in bed, with the most amazing selection of food! And they have a private hot spring bath, which is a great way to relax after a day in the mountains. It is very close to Huangshan scenic area and transfer to get there is included. For all international tourists: It was also easy to communicate in English via the hotel chat, they are very forthcoming in supporting you with planning your travels and transfer. We stayed for two nights. Great hotel, great location. Peaceful and serene, in excellent conditions, and the super attentive staff were good star! ⭐️ we highly recommend. Fantastic views of Huangshan nature, a short ride away from the famous hike - ride provided by the hotel. We had no problem communicating via WeChat. delicious local dishes (although don’t expect a too many light options), amazing local alcohol. We will definitely come back in winter to try this peaceful hotel under a different vibe.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days at this property. They upgraded us to the Duplex Family Suite upon arrival. It was very clean, spacious and thoughtfully modernly designed. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were nice and crisp! Everything was high quality. It was an amazing experience. The owner and staff are friendly, attentive, accommodating and helpful to every request we had. They even made very helpful suggestions! The breakfast and dinner were delicious! I'd highly recommend eating the dinner here as the menu has items that other local restaurants don't serve. It's a combination of homestyle cooking with fresh local ingredients. The breakfast was abundant and very superb! The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet, tranquil and peacefully area beside a lovely stream, that is also very convenient to get to Huangshan mountain. The staff provides a shuttle in a comfortable newer luxury vehicle and will be waiting to pick you up at the end of day as well. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location 10/10. Owner and staff 10/10. Food 10/10. Room, comfort and cleanliness 10/10!

Had a great time staying here. Staff here was very helpful with any questions that we had regarding the hike. They provide a drop off and pick up service which was very useful.  They also serve great food for dinner, and a hearty free breakfast to get you fuelled up for the day!  Overall, I’d greatly recommend this place for anything looking to hike the mountain. It is luxurious yet homey at the same time, plus all the free perks they give you is very worth it!

Lovely full-service hotel in the mountains, which really helped make our visit to Huangshan special! Communicating easily done with WeChat. Food is excellent.
