What a lovely venue. The room was great, we had two bedrooms one had a fireplace. The sheets and blankets were very cozy. The space to hang out downstairs or outside was beautiful. Plenty of lovely details. It was a quick walk to everything you need. You will not be disappointed.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and a great space for a weekend getaway! Our room was so cozy with the gas fireplace it was so charming. The staff was so helpful with coordinating and accommodating for my friends and I. Overall an amazing experience and would absolutely love to come back!

We loved our stay at Wm. Farmer and Sons. Our rooms were so comfortable, quant, and roomy - just charming. The staff was wonderful and very communicative before and during our visit. We had dinner in the restaurant on the night of our arrival and the food was excellent. After a long day of driving, touring, and a big dinner with lots of wine it was so easy to just go right upstairs! We intend to return for another visit next fall.

We absolutely loved our two-night stay at Wm. Farmer & Sons. Check in was super easy and the ladies at the desk were wonderful. The building we were in (where the restaurant is) was gorgeous and charming. We stayed in the Kemp suite which was perfection. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable! The suite is on the third floor (no elevator) and the old-style tub is very high, so I wouldn’t recommend the room to anyone with mobility issues. Other than that, I think it is perfect for couples looking for a private comfy, cozy room with extra space. It is across the street from the Hudson and an easy walk to the main *****, Warren Street. We cannot wait to come back!

This hotel was stunning, impeccably clean and beautifully curated. Service from the front desk was absolutely top tier - they were easy to reach via text at any time. It was by far our favorite hotel stay we’ve ever had!! Hudson is incredible - We will absolutely be back!

We walked in without a reservation and sat near to the bar. Food was good . Service was rushed and server was not friendly. For $250 dollars for a couple ...I would expect to not be rushed through a meal Felt the server wanted us in and out and was not an experience I would pay that money for again.

This was my first time visiting Hudson, NY, thus also staying at Wm Farmer and Sons. I choose the hotel based on the availability of the rooms and also that a bar/restaurant was connected to the property. I ended up choosing wisely, as the hotel is quaint, well kept and clean. I stayed in the Margaret room, which was just perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well equipped with items one may need. The mini fridge came in handy for leftovers from the many restaurants we sampled. Speaking of restaurants, definitely eat at the Wm Farmer and Sons restaurant. We had the oysters, beef tartare and burger and everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. I also appreciated the ease of being able to contact the host if I had any questions or concerns, as she was just a text message away. I even received reminder text to move my car due to the parking rules in the town. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and you will as well.

Another awesome stay. We've made several friends in town and despite other options, we always stay at Wm Farmer. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed. Amazing bartenders, great restaurant, and accommodating hosts make this THE BEST place to stay in Hudson!

I stayed in the James Louis Suite for one night and it was fabulous! The biggest bed, and a really spacious room (see attached pics). I loved the classic furniture and the record player was a fun touch. The check in process was very straightforward and there is a text service for any questions you have during your stay. I took the Amtrak from NYC and it was just a five minute walk to get here and a short walk to the high street with some great independent shops and restaurants. They even provide large umbrellas for when it rains! A great place to base yourself for exploring the area and I would definitely stay again. A few things that may be helpful to know: - Breakfast is not provided. There are a couple of cafes nearby but they don't open until 8am and 9am so consider packing a breakfast snack if you're an early riser. - The hairdryer is a travel hairdryer so if you have long/thick hair, either take your own or have some patience! - It was a little noisy as the pub was closing in the evening but ear plugs are provided for light sleepers.
