Nice place. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was good. Several dining options within walking distance.

Is a very nice hotel. In a good assessable location. Well within eating places and shopping. Very quiet and the staff are very friendly.

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was about what you would expect. Getting into the property seemed to be a little awkward.

We decided to take our sons to the Kansas State Fair. I made the reservation five days before our trip. The only room I could find that would fit our family of five was here. The cost was so much more than I would pay normally, but I knew we wanted to be in Hutchinson. We checked in after a hot day at the fair, ready to relax. We noticed the thermostat was at 76, but just figured it would cool of soon. Time went by, and not only did it not cool down, but went up to 80. My husband went to talk to the front desk. They said the only thing they could was move us to a much smaller room or put a fan in our room with a non working air conditioner. A room we paid $400 a night for! We decided to leave, with the front desk telling us the manager would talk to us on Tuesday(this was Saturday). My husband called twice to talk to the manager, who said they would get back to us. Now it’s Thursday and not a word back. Out $400, plus the $200 we had to pay for a second hotel an hour away. They were not helpful that night, and continue to not try to rectify the situation. Extremely disappointed.

A decent hotel has become pretty expensive!!!!! A major consideration to just stay home!!

toilet didn't work, didn't want to move 3 kids, self, wife, dog after 10pm to a smaller room, so they gave us keys to the next door available room so we could walk back and forth as needed for bathroom. inconvenient, but things happen and it worked as viable solution. not a fan of a $50 nonrefundable pet fee. if pet is well-mannered and no mess, shouldn't be charged extra, should be part of a visiting family that has paid for the stay. I understand if damage or not trained and extra cost to hotel, but wasn't the case for us. regardless, would recommend hotel and staff and use again in the future if staying in Hutchinson.
