Two night stay at the Inveraray Inn for Bert’s birthday. Felt so at home. The bar was buzzing and the food was great, with wonderful staff. Our room was small, but comfy with a lovely view of the loch. Good bed. Breakfast was excellent. Would happily come back

This was a great experience at a superb hotel with lovely staff who were efficient, friendly and helpful, a choice of menu and well cooked and presented food adds to the experience. A great place to stay in a fantastic spot and well worth visiting.

The beautiful old building dates back to 1755. It is the first building you see as you arrive in Inveraray. Staff were very welcoming. Parking was available right outside the entrance. Stairs are steep so if you have mobility problems you may find these difficult. Two of our party did. Rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. They are not perfectly sound proof. Would I stay here again - yes if everyone can manage the stairs.

We came here for lunch, the food was fine but we wouldn’t return. The staff look like they absolutely hate their job and everyone who comes for food. I asked a basic question (can I have ice) and you would think I killed someone with the look I got. It’s definitely not the friendliest restaurant I’ve been to.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and aimed to please during our stay. There was a really good choice at breakfast which was faultless. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, great nights sleep.

Found the rooms lacked ventilation as only large window on noisy road to open. Booked breakfast for 9 was not served until 10 and it was cold. Would not stay here again as since I stayed 6 years ago it has changed considerably and not for the best.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Inveraray Inn on our way over tho the Isle of Mull. The room was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet so a good sleep was had by us both. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and so was breakfast.

This hotel has the best vantage point in the whole of Inveraray. Slightly dated re decor. Mixed experience re breakfast: first morning -freshly cooked traditional fry up. Second morning -over or under cooked depending on breakfast item.

I’ve just stopped to eat something in restaurant. After we ordered drinks they said the kitchen is shut (it was between 4 and 5 pm). I asked waiter why he didn’t say that before we ordered drinks? “You didn't ask me”- said and showed me his back. So remember- when you hungry arrive to Inveraray, first check if kitchen in restaurant is open.
